Move over pumpkin, there’s a new holiday flavor in town. Just as quickly as pumpkin everything comes into our lives, so does peppermint (or anything candy cane related) as the calendar continues the countdown to December 25th.
If you’re looking for a way to spice up your holiday gathering, try this adult beverage recipe that will warm your soul and liven any party!
It’s delicious, seasonally beautiful and a fun holiday spin on an old favorite!
PEPPERMINT WHITE RUSSIAN
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Kahlúa (or White Russian Kahlúa, which adds Vodka for you!)
- 2 parts Peppermint Schnapps
- 1 part Half and half
- ice
For the Garnish: (optional)
- Crushed candy canes to rim the glass dipped in clear corn syrup OR
- Candy cane stirrers
Instructions:
- Fill an old fashioned glass with ice (rimmed with crushed candy cane, if desired). Pour in Kahlúa and Peppermint Schnapps.Top off the glass with half and half to fill.
