Whether you’re entertaining friends, having a big family dinner or even spending a quiet night at home, there’s always room in your life for hot chocolate! Since we don’t like to keep things ho-hum and boring, we thought we’d turn our bar cart into entertaining central with a pumpkin themed hot chocolate bar!
It’s really easy to do, and of course we added in a couple of simple DIYs as well.
First, start with a cleared off bar cart. I love this gold mirrored cart because like a great outfit, it can be styled and dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Basically, I’ll always have some bling around for our parties.
Next, I started by adding in the larger items. Since we were going for a pumpkin theme, an iron basket on the bottom shelf holds a few cute gourds. And our DIY Farmhouse Pumpkin Sign was perfect for the top shelf. After that, a little greenery never hurts! Adding in a pop of green to each shelf really brought it to life.
I also added a really simple garland that reads FALL and it was so easy to print on the new Cricut Maker and attach with mini clothespins.
Now it’s time to add in the goods! With a jar of hot cocoa, some pumpkin spice creamer and a bit of pumpkin pie spice, we’re ready to make the magic happen. I have glasses set out and ready to go and as guests arrive, I’ll heat some water on the kettle and we’ll be ready to toast the night away with our pumpkin spiced hot chocolates!
