As Summer rolls in full force with it’s heat, it’s time to bring out all the dresses! Not only will they keep you cool this Summer, but they will also be your best friend when it comes to getting ready. Here are a few ways to easily style some beautiful dresses for any occasion this Summer!
Add a Statement Accessory
Nothing tops off a breezy summer dress like some bold statement earrings. These Iris Apfel earrings are bold and bright, with some fun tassel detail that will be sure to get you compliments! Hats are another fun statement accessory. If you’re heading out for a day spent outside, they’re a stylish way to protect your head and face from the sun! Currently, I’m really loving the Caya Costa Wide Brim Fedora Hat. It’s a perfect piece to add to a dress like the IMAN printed maxi for a day at the pool, beach, for a walk downtown, or even to brunch date!
Grab a Cute Bag
Embellished bags became all the rage last summer, and they’re back again this summer as well! This crossbody bag from Steve Madden is one of my favorites. The Sam Edelman Straw Bucket Bag is another perfect accessory to add to any dress, especially one like the Curations Embroidered Dress (which comes in two colors!). These bags remind me so much of the beach, so even if you’re not by the water, they’re a great way to add a little tropical flair to your look.
Rock a Pair of Chic Sandals
During the summer, sandals are a must. Sometimes it can be so hard to find cute ones though! A couple of my current favs are the Patricia Nash Flair Sandal and Sam Edelman Delano Sandal.
What I love about the Flair Sandal is that they’re super easy to slip on and off since they have no back! Perfect for those days when you’re running out the door, heading to the beach, or just need a pair of flats to slip in your bag for later. They come in black, peach, and a teal/brown color. Personally I would pair these with one of the Marla Wynne Dresses!
The Delano Sandal is great for when you want to “dress up” your dress! They have a little bit of a heel to give you just enough of a height lift without the aches and pains. What’s great about this pair too is that they come in five neutral shades, so you have plenty of color options to choose from!
