Try this twist on the classic strawberrys and banana smoothie. One thing you miss out on in this classic drink is all the great anti-oxidents you can unlock from those nutrient-rich berries. The tart flavors from pomegranate juice and a handful of blueberries mixes really well with the sweetness of the strawberries and banana. I also like to add a pinch of cottage cheese to help with the consistency.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup strawberries, sliced
- ¼ cup blueberries
- ½ cup pomegranate juice
- 1 banana, sliced
- ¼ cup not-fat cottage cheese
- ½ cup water
