How To Get Flawless Contours and Highlights With The Luminess Airbrush

 

Contouring and highlighting the face is a makeup artist’s top trick to brighten, lift, and taper an individual’s features. Using the face’s natural shapes and angles they can accentuate and plump our cheeks, draw the light upwards to our eyes, and make our noses appear refined and straighter. 1. The Cheeks

 

 

• Put two drops of the Airbrush Contour formula (the darker of the two shades) into your stylus. Find where you will contour by pursing your lips to accentuate your cheekbone line.
• Hold the stylus about two to three inches from the cheeks and follow along from the edge of the mouth to the side of the ear. Apply the Contour in short, upward strokes. 
• For highlighting blow any access contouring makeup on to a tissue. Next put two drops of the Airbrush Highlight formula (the lighter of the two shades) into your stylus.
• Above the contour line you’ve created and below the eye, use the same technique from contouring to apply the Highlight. Move the stylus in an upward motion on the apples of the cheeks.

 

2. The Forehead

 

 

• Put two drops of the Airbrush Contour formula (the darker of the two shades) into your stylus.
• Along your hairline and down to your temples, apply the Contour in an even mist.
• For highlightingblow any access contouring makeup on to a tissue. Next put two drops of the Airbrush Highlight formula (the lighter of the two shades) into your stylus.
• Focus the Highlight on the center of your forehead in the area above the brows and between the temples. Work the stylus in a circular motion while applying.

 

3. The Nose

 

 

• Put one drop of the Airbrush Contour formula (the darker of the two shades) into your stylus.
• Start at the top of your nose, beside your eye, use short sweeping strokes to apply the Contour. Work down the side of the bridge of your nose towards the tip evenly applying.
• For highlightingblow any access contouring makeup on to a tissue. Next put one drop of the Airbrush Highlight formula (the lighter of the two shades) into your stylus.
• Start at the top of your nose, between your eyes, and apply the Highlight down the center of your nose. Work in short sweeping strokes from the brow to the tip highlighting where the light will naturally hit your nose.
