Celebrate the season by creating your own meaning, moments and memories… I think almost everyone gets nostalgic at this time of the year! For most of us, it is the family gatherings, the conversation, the memorable meals and our traditions that conjure up heartfelt memories. Each year, as we gather together, we create new moments and each and every one of them creates new meaning for our loved ones, for our friends and for those who are celebrating with us. We are wishing for new beginnings, and hoping for a healthy and happy New Year. We are guided by what we believe in and look towards our heritage to put our hearts in our meals, our wardrobe and of course gift giving! I want to take a moment to bring some of my favorite images to life and share the gifts that I love for each of these celebrations!!!

Hanukkah has always been a special celebration for my ancestors and for my family. For eight days we celebrate the meanings, moments and memories of our culture and heritage.

Thanksgiving… what would America’s favorite holiday be without the turkey? And let’s not forget those times with our siblings or family trying to break the wishbone and making secret wishes. I can’t remember even one of those wishes, but they must have come true because my life is filled with family and joy!

Christmas – Although Christmas was not celebrated in my home, I have always joined in the celebration of this holiday with my friends. Today I do not choose between holidays, I celebrate each for its own spiritual meaning. The cross has always meant so much universally, and today I am so proud to present the ultimate jewelled cross!

There are other holidays that link our cultures — specifically Eid Al Adha, Yule and Kwanzaa. These all celebrate our love for our faith. Love is most closely linked to our hearts, which bring us all together to celebrate the season.

Whether or not you celebrate a specific holiday this year, keep in mind that we all are unique, so Mother Nature gifts us with all of her beauty. Let’s celebrate someone special this year and remember how their love and guidance has helped to influence who we are and what we stand for.

Wishing you the most joyous season! May you be blessed and celebrate your way – after all, we all are the children of the universe!! And that is reason enough to believe!!!

With love and sparklingly rare moments,

Carol
