If you are anything like me, on your vacation you aim to spend the least amount of time in front of the mirror and the most amount of time on the beach (or bar….!) Faffing around with makeup, hair and nails is not what a vacation is about, but equally you don’t want to look too frazzled or frizzy. So by keeping the products to a few and the looks simple you can enjoy your vacation but look great doing it.
Daytime Hair
For the day the easiest thing to do with your hair is to braid it. Go for one braid keeping it loose and pulling a few strands out to give it a lived in look. This will keep your hair off your face and most of it out the sun.
Nighttime Hair

Nails

Daytime Makeup
For the day I generally go make up free. I always have skincare in mind, so I like letting my skin breathe and relax, keeping my make up for the evening (not forgetting SPF for the face.) However if you want to cover up a little opt for a BB or CC cream with added SPF to ensure your skin is protected – Shiseido have a great SPF range, their Perfect Hydrating BB Cream with SPF 35 will add a hint of color.
Nighttime Makeup
At night it’s your chance to enhance your bronzed beach look with a little more drama. Keep it dewy and illuminating so add a little concealer where needed, Benefit’s Boi-ing Full Coverage Concealer is a brilliant industrial strength concealer to keep any redness or blemishes hidden. Then follow with the same bronzer as the day, and a pop of color using some tint. For the eyes, line with Trish McEvoy’s 24-Hour Eye Shadow and Liner in Smoky Quartz, blending it with your fingers to create a soft line (you could also build this product for a sexy smoky look too.) Top with the mascara and lip color from the day and you are ready to hit the bar!
