Fashion always tells a story and when I travel around the world I discover the amazing history and culture tied up in the fabric of my destinations. Through fashion we can explore the world of textiles, colors, and patterns that embody the traditions and identity of a particular country. Most recently Curations Caravan found style inspiration in Greece!

I loved the vibrant energy of Greece, from the relaxing Mediterranean coastline, to the delicious, fresh food, to the breathtaking architecture and cityscape.

In Greece life flows smoothly while the culture embodies a spirit of revelry. Taking cues from the wonderful sights around me I brought home the very best of Greece with some new, inspired fashion.

1. Convertible Maxis

The Mediterranean sea is a beautiful icon of Greece. Watching the waves roll in, feeling the soft layers of sand under my feet, and admiring the terracotta-colored hills in the distance, I was truly inspired. My Convertible Maxi Skirt brings the natural shapes and movement of the Greek coast into an outfit. Draped fabric, like this maxi dress, is so feminine and lovely as it softly accentuates the curves of the body. Its transformable style will make every woman feel like a Grecian goddess.

2. Matching Tanks and Wraps

Wraps and scarves are hugely popular along the Mediterranean as they can be used to keep warm in the chill early mornings or late nights, protect oneself from the strong rays of the sun, or shrug on as a light-weight top. The Tank/Cozy Set is my manifestation of this relaxed Grecian style. Accessories like tanks and wraps are so versatile in how they can be styled with almost everything in your wardrobe, and paired with blue jeans or a maxi skirt and wedge heels it’s an effortlessly stylish look.

3. Brilliant Jumpsuits

Greek cities and islands like Santorini, Crete, Athens, and Mykonos are infused with a stunning color palette. The ancient Greeks loved color with purple being an aristocratic dye, yellow often donned by women, and greens, browns, and reds commonly seen in the market. The textiles and hues that emerge from Greece today are still so rich and vivacious, they seem to carry an energy in their fibers. To capture the spirit of Greece I created the Crossover Jumpsuit. The wide-leg bottoms and sleeveless top are comfortable and stylish enough to transition from browsing in the market to meeting family and friends for a nice dinner.
