After a long, hot summer our sandals and wedges are probably starting to show their seams. Lucky for us this next season ushers in a whole different array of footwear. The arrival of new boots is like the calling card of fall and we’re ready to answer it! This autumn we’ll be hoofin it in style with…

1. Riding Boots

"Fantasia" Tall Leather Riding Boot

Jump on this equestrian-inspired style of tall riding boots for fall. This boot style hits at knee-length or mid calf with a wonderfully comfortable stretch fit that hugs the leg. Tuck in pencil jeans or leggings into a boot like the “Fantasia” Tall Leather Riding Boot for a polished but relaxed look. For work outfits or a going-out ensemble try matching the “Calle” Tall Leather Stretch Dress Boot with skirt or dresses that hit above the knee. The little extra lift of the “Calle” helps this boot makes the legs look long and lean.

2. Ankle Boots

"Cider" Western Ankle Bootie

Retro styles are finding a new footing in fall fashion and one popular look is the ankle boot. This style should hit just at the ankle bone or an inch below. With ankle boots the high the heel the more dressed up we can make an outfit feel so they’re really versatile. The sleek design of these low-cut boots makes them great for pairing with all types of outfits, be it dresses, shorts, jeans–they’ll make a statement. Try a pair like the “Cider” Western Ankle Bootie; it’s a great choice for transitioning into footwear for fall weather.

3. Booties

Last year shooties and booties were on our radar and we’re so excited to see them coming back strong again for fall. Booties are one of those shoes that when we slip them on they just make us feel more confident and in control. Maybe it’s the awesome leg up in height or maybe it’s just their super chic style. Either way, we’re more than happy to welcome back booties like the “Bustell” Studded Dress Bootie paired with a chambray button up or moto jacket for our first autumnal stroll outdoors this season.
