We’ve got our sundresses and shades stocked and ready to go but the heavy, closed-toe shoes we relied on in winter and spring are time to be put to fallow for the season. Summer sandals have arrived! This early crop of summer shoes gives us options with just enough of a heel to work for nice occasions and also low profile looks that can go the miles comfortably for relaxed outings. Get ready to shoe-off your pedicure for summer.

Wedges are a fantastic choice for summer because they offer the lift of a heel paired with a solid, supportive foundation making them a lot more beach friendly. When it comes to wedges, though, there are as many different kinds as the eye can dream up.
