I thought it would be fun to switch up our bar cart for a special night in with friends. and make a hot chocolate bar with sweet treats for dessert. I used my Jeffrey Banks dessert plates and mugs which looked so festive on my gold bar cart. I also dressed it up with some fresh greens, pinecone garland and a bowl of bright red pomegranates.
I served the most delicious hot chocolate, the Jeffrey Banks Scottie Hot Chocolate, with marshmallows and candy canes for garnish, and David’s Cookies that are TO DIE FOR! Our guests loved being able to serve themselves hot chocolate (I made it ahead of time and kept it warm in my slow cooker) and fill their plates with as many treats as their sweet teeth could handle.
