We just arrived back from a fabulous Lancome Beauty Day in New York City! Our friends form Lancome, Paris invited us to visit their luxe offices on 5th Avenue last week, and being the beauty junkies we are, Diana, Tamara, Amy and I jumped at the chance to spend the day getting the buzz beauty from the Lancome experts – Ooooh La La!
After our wonderful hosts served us a lovely lunch – complete with Cafe au Lait and French pastries for dessert. We headed into the beauty board room where the Lancome experts from various divisions of the company gave us the inside scoop on what’s happening in 2011 when it comes to Color, Skin Care and Fragrance! There was lots of show and tell and the best part was getting our goodie bags with oodles of samples to try for ourselves…we were like little kids in a candy store! Joie de vivre!!
Soon spring will be peaking around the corner and the new colors from Lancome cosmetics will make you want to shed your boots, sweaters and winter layers and think spring!
We loved the new Color Design Eye-Brightening, all-in-one shadow and liner pallette. They come in gorgeous colors like amethyst, teal and sienna sultry; the colors last for 8 hours, they go creamy and do not crease. The new French Touch lipsticks have 98% natural ingredients and come in gorgeous, long lasting colors. Other new faves include Color Fever Glosses and Plumpers that give lips a sensual, vibrant shine…mmwwhhaa! One thing we all went crazy for was a real secret weapon for every femme fatale to have in her beauty bag ;).
