6 Easy Steps To Make A Handmade Wedding Card

With wedding season fast approaching, why not create a beautiful handmade card for the bride-to-be? We’ll show you how to achieve a delicate die cut look in just a few simple steps.

Materials you’ll need for this project:

1. Create your card base

Create a 5×7 card base from cream cardstock, or use any pre-made card base. Cover the front of the card with a 5×7 piece of gray and white floral paper. We used cardstock from the Anna Griffin Georgette Collection for this particular card, but any cardstock or text weight paper will suffice.

2. Add an embossed layer

Trim a 4 ½ x 6 ½ panel of white or ivory cardstock, emboss with the Anna Griffin Francesca Lace embossing folder and adhere to card base.

6. Embellish your card

Adhere one finished flourish to the center of the embossed cream panel using foam tape. Affix the four small die cut pieces to each corner of the cream panel.  Add sentiment sticker to center of card, layering over die cut flourish.
