The holiday season is here, and we all want to look our best, whether it’s for work or play. I tend to find myself searching for the perfect bold lip color during this time of year. There’s just something about the cooler weather that makes me want to add a little extra pop of color to my look. Now, we don’t all wear colors the same way, so I’ve picked four fabulous lip colors that are completely different, but are all such gorgeous colors for a season filled to the brim with family get-togethers and holiday parties.
A Great Neutral Lip Color
For those of you who like a smooth, creamy shade that gives you just the slightest pop of color, this Trish McEvoy Lip Color in Rosewood is an easy-to-wear, neutral tone. It goes on smooth and feels like you’re wearing your favorite lip balm. This one is perfectfor wearing every day, or for just the slightest bit of color if you’re not a big fan of wearing alot of color.
A Little Bit of Shimmer
If you’re looking for a little more color and a little bit of shimmer, pick up a tube of Lancôme Color Design in Edgy. A rich, shimmery plum is a great color for dressing up any wintry look. Take your neutral look from the office to a night out with a swipe of this edgy lip color.
A Bright Hue To Add a Pop of Color
Jewel tones are always a good choice during the holiday season, and a vivid fuchsia shade is always a favorite of mine. While you may think pink is more of a spring color, the right shade is a cold weather must-have, in my opinion. This Lord & Berry Shiny Crayon Lipstick in Peonyis the perfect rich pink for winter.
A Dark Matte Shade
Deep, dark colors are all the rage this season, and are a personal favorite of mine. I have to admit that I used to be a little scared of dark lip colors, but I’ve fallen hard for Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Drop Dead Red. It’s got a matte finish, so it’s simple, while the deep, dark red packs a punch that’s perfect for giving your look a little extra sass this holiday season.
