Over the years I have become an avid beauty and makeup lover. I enjoy trying and experimenting with new products and colors, and I get really excited when I find a brand that I can count on.
Recently Christie Brinkley has expanded her beauty and skincare range to include makeup and let me just say, I am a fan.
First off let’s just talk about the beautiful rose gold packaging. Good packaging always gets me! I personally think that it will look great on any vanity and it is made extremely well, definitely solid quality. Plus, the packages are sleek and won’t take up too much room in your makeup bag.
Now onto the fun stuff, the makeup itself is top shelf. The powder based products such as the blush, bronzer and eye shadow are all beautifully pigmented and extremely blendable. You can do a light coat for a natural day look or go a little stronger for a more dramatic night on the town look.
The cream based products such as the foundation, concealer stick and highlighter stick are all light weight and buildable. They left my skin looking radiant. I definitely felt like I had a natural looking glow, which is a look that I love.
Last but not least, the eyebrow stick and mascara. The eyebrow stick wasn’t too waxy and was very easy to use when it came to shaping my brows, while still leaving them with a natural look. I love having both the brush and color in one pencil, and the angled color makes application simple! The mascara, gave my eyelashes a full and fluttery look and held the curl throughout the day. I was a big fan of the brush head, the bristles were soft and separated my lashes while still making them look thicker. Overall, two thumbs up in my book.
For a first beauty launch I can say that they’ve produced a line of quality products, and that I can’t wait to see what the come out with next!
