Dear Friends,
As I write this, I’m in China enjoying spending time with family and friends and taking the opportunity to re-introduce my daughter to her heritage and my homeland. I especially love this time of year in China. It reminds me of when I was just a young girl, playing in the fields with my sisters and cooking in the kitchen with my Mother and Grandmother.
Visiting China always brings me back to my roots. Growing up in an herbal community, having an appreciation for nature was engrained in me from a very young age. It’s a part of who I am today. It’s amazing, really, when you think about what nature has to offer. In China, we’ve spent centuries studying the beneficial qualities of herbs and how they can be used for beauty and so much more. All of this knowledge has been passed down from one generation of herbalists to another, from teacher to student and mother to daughter. I get so much joy from working with my herbalists to develop new formulas for all of you and I cannot wait to share the wonderful beauty secrets I’ve discovered during this trip.
