Easy Caramel Apple Pie Cookies Your Neighbors Will Love

Apple Pie Cookies
Active Time: 40 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Yields: 6 Cookies

INGREDIENTS
• 1 package Refrigerated Pie Crust (2 crusts)
• 5 oz Caramel Topping
• 10 oz Apple Pie Filling
• 1 Egg
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 1/4 cup Sugar

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350*.
Mash 10oz. of apple pie filling into a thick paste.
Roll out pie crust and slice into 1/2 inch strips, set aside.
Roll out another pie crust and cut out circles.
Spread a thin layer of caramel and mashed pie filling.
Use strips to create a lattice top over pie filling.
Cut out circles with cookie cutter and transfer to prepared baking sheet.
Beat egg and mix together sugar, cinnamon.
Brush lattice tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar mixture.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
