An Easy Holiday Tablescape To Wow Your Guests

I have this thing for creating tablescapes. I absolutely LOVE decorating for the holidays and I view the table as the perfect canvas where I can unleash my creative spirit and have it enjoyed over intimate dinners with family and friends. The table really is such an important place in the home, it’s where we gather as family and friends and share laughter, joy and love. It’s where we satiate our senses over homemade food and good wine, and spend hours sitting around enjoying our favorite people.

I was excited to decorate our farm table in our new house this year for the Holidays. I focused on dressing the table with items that are easily accessible for the modern gal, lots of fresh ingredients that double as decor, and this gorgeous pre-lit garland that sat on top of our plaid runner. The soft lights shining off the garland were really the perfect touch and I embellished the garland with fresh greens from the grocery store. I also placed seasonal clementines and fresh cranberries in pretty gold bowls.

For the place settings I used the Jeffrey Banks plaid plates and I made simple place cards for my guests with a sprig of green to go alongside them. The table came together so simply and beautifully, the perfect backdrop for a holiday dinner, bon appetit!
