It’s almost that time of year again, when the air is crisp and the holiday season is bright! What’s more special than sending a beautiful, handmade card to your friends and loved ones? This festive Holly Jacket Card is the perfect way to wish everyone on your list a happy holiday season!

Materials:
- Anna GriffinÒ Empress Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
- Anna GriffinÒ Tool ‘n One
- Anna GriffinÒ Holly Jacket Card Dies
- (1) 5”x 7” piece Anna GriffinÒ Foil Cardstock (gold)
- (1) 2”x 3” piece Anna GriffinÒ Foil Cardstock (gold)
- (1) 4”x 6” piece Anna GriffinÒ Christmas Cardstock (red diamond)
- (1) 7 ½”x 11” piece Anna GriffinÒ Christmas Cardstock (white diamond)
- Anna GriffinÒ Mini 3D Christmas Stickers (mittens, holly, “Happy Holidays” sentiment)
- Anna GriffinÒ Ivory Cards and Envelopes (5”x 7” ivory card base)
- Holiday embossing folder
- Approx 30” red ribbon
- Double-sided adhesive
- Foam square adhesive
- Hole Punch
Instructions:
- Using the Empress, die cut the following:
- (1) 7 ½”x 11” piece of white diamond patterned cardstock using the Holly Jacket Card die
- (1) 4”x 6” piece of red diamond patterned cardstock using the 2 holly dies and inner tag die
- (1) 2”x 3” piece of gold foil cardstock using the outer tag die
- Emboss the 5”x 7” piece of gold foil cardstock using the Empress machine and a holiday folder.
Assembly:
- Using double-sided adhesive, attach the embossed 5”x 7” gold foil cardstock to the front of the ivory card base.
- Fold the white diamond jacket card die cut piece along the score line.
- Insert the gold embossed card into the white diamond jacket card.
- Apply double-sided adhesive to the inside of the jacket card along the seam to attach it to the card base.
- Using double-sided adhesive, attach the red diamond holly pieces to the top right and bottom left corners of the card.
- Attach the holly stickers with gold accents on top of the holly die cut pieces.
- Attach 2 holly stickers and two mitten stickers to the center of the card.
- To assemble the tag, adhere the patterned cardstock piece on top of the gold foil cardstock piece using double-sided adhesive. Place sentiment sticker in the center of the tag. Punch a hole for the ribbon to go through.
- To assemble the ribbon:
- Wrap the ribbon around the fold of the card
- String the sentiment through the ribbon
- Make a bow near the top of the card, making sure the sentiment tag is below the bow.
- Twirl the tails of the bow and secure in place with foam squares.
- Using the Empress, die cut the following:
- (1) 7 ½”x 11” piece of white diamond patterned cardstock using the Holly Jacket Card die
- (1) 4”x 6” piece of red diamond patterned cardstock using the 2 holly dies and inner tag die
- (1) 2”x 3” piece of gold foil cardstock using the outer tag die
- Emboss the 5”x 7” piece of gold foil cardstock using the Empress machine and a holiday folder.
- Using double-sided adhesive, attach the embossed 5”x 7” gold foil cardstock to the front of the ivory card base.
- Fold the white diamond jacket card die cut piece along the score line.
- Insert the gold embossed card into the white diamond jacket card.
- Apply double-sided adhesive to the inside of the jacket card along the seam to attach it to the card base.
- Using double-sided adhesive, attach the red diamond holly pieces to the top right and bottom left corners of the card.
- Attach the holly stickers with gold accents on top of the holly die cut pieces.
- Attach 2 holly stickers and two mitten stickers to the center of the card.
- To assemble the tag, adhere the patterned cardstock piece on top of the gold foil cardstock piece using double-sided adhesive. Place sentiment sticker in the center of the tag. Punch a hole for the ribbon to go through.
- Wrap the ribbon around the fold of the card
- String the sentiment through the ribbon
- Make a bow near the top of the card, making sure the sentiment tag is below the bow.
- Twirl the tails of the bow and secure in place with foam squares.
