Up Your Slider Game: Tasty Sliders 4 Ways

Who doesn’t love a slider? They’re great for portion control, fun to eat, and perfect for parties!

Using dinner rolls, or Hawaiian sweet rolls for the bread base is the way to go! You can easily slice them in half using a bread knife, then load em’ up, top, and bake.

Today, I’m sharing four tasty slider recipes perfect for any get-together! Each recipe serves twelve hungry friends. Bonus if you add a side of fries – enjoy!

Breakfast Sliders

Makes 12

Ingredients:

  • 12-pack of dinner rolls or Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 9 eggs, scrambled
  • 6 slices white cheddar
  • 8 strips cooked bacon
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Slice the rolls in half lengthwise, using a bread knife.
  3. Place the bottom half on a 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Spread the eggs evenly on the rolls, followed by the bacon. Top with cheese.
  5. Place the remaining half of the rolls on top.
  6. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle pepper on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on your oven.
  8. Slice, then serve.

BBQ Chicken Sliders

Serves 12

Ingredients:

  • 12-pack of dinner rolls or Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • ⅓ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Slice the rolls in half lengthwise.
  3. Place the bottom half on a 9×13 baking tray.
  4. Combine the chicken and BBQ in a mixing bowl. Spread the chicken mixture evenly on the rolls. Followed by red onion, and cheese.
  5. Place the remaining half of the rolls on top.
  6. Brush with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Slice, then serve.

Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Serves 12

Ingredients:

  • 12-pack of dinner rolls or Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • ¼ cup basil, chopped
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Slice the rolls in half lengthwise.
  3. Place the bottom half on a 9×13 baking tray.
  4. Combine the chicken and marinara sauce in a mixing bowl. Spread the chicken mixture evenly on the rolls, followed by the mozzarella, and basil.
  5. Place the remaining half of the rolls on top.
  6. Using a food processor, pulse the garlic, parsley, and Parmesan together. Mix the melted butter with the garlic, parsley, and parmesan.
  7. Brush the top of the rolls with the butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Slice, then serve.

Cheeseburger Sliders

Serves 12

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef (I used 90/10 mix)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ white onion, diced
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 12-pack of dinner rolls or Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine the beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a 9×13 baking tray, mixing thoroughly and pressing it in a flat, even layer.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Set aside the cooked beef and drain the liquid.
  5. Slice the rolls in half lengthwise.
  6. Place the bottom half on the same 9×13 baking tray.
  7. Place the cooked beef layer on the rolls, followed by the onions and cheddar cheese.
  8. Place the remaining half of the rolls on top.
  9. Brush the top of the rolls with the butter and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes.
  11. Slice, then serve.
