5 Minutes with Twiggy: Spring Fashion

What inspired the style sense of your Spring 2012 collection?
The theme is all about color. I have incorporated my favorite colors in great silhouettes such as my favorite slim leg jeans, amazing swing trench coat, playful printed flats and fun slouchy bag. And we can’t forget my Today’s Special coming in six gorgeous colors. I am also introducing soft, muted colors to great transitional pieces, like my cozy v-neck sweater, high-end knit poncho and supple suede scrunchy boots.
I haven’t forgotten about the great Twiggy London basic colors that are timeless. From the perfect under-pinning to all your spring blouses, to the skirt that you made a Customer Pick!
What is your favorite item from your Spring 2012 collection?
My upcoming TS! Tune into HSN on March 20th as I reveal the must-have item to complete your spring collection. It has the most darling added detail and is the perfect piece to carry you from year to year!

What’s your IT color for spring?
Bright orange! I have an amazing swing trench coat coming in pop colors, but my favorite of them all is the bright orange. Also, be on the lookout for my cozy embellished cardigan, soft knit tank, must-have jeans, printed flats and great slouchy bag coming in this gorgeous, bright orange color.
What is your must-have accessory for spring?
My go-to snake print loafer! It is the comfiest loafer that will get you around. It comes in beautiful colors that compliment my spring collection.
What is your must-have splurge item for spring?
Jeans in all kinds of fun colors are the hottest trend right now. You can never have too many in an array of different colors.
What upcoming projects are you currently working on?
Along with exciting designs for the Summer and Fall collections for Twiggy London, I am really excited about launching my first fragrance this Summer.

Hi Twiggy. Love you, love your things! I have major buyers regret that I did not buy your leather motorcycle jacket or was it called moto jacket? It came in different colors and I think you said today you sold it 2 years ago. PLEASE, PLEASE BRING IT BACK. thank you
