I purchased the Singer SES1000 and it is back ordered. So it has not been mailed to me.
What I truly wanted was the Singer Futura Quartet. It has been unavailable since before Christmas. I just couldn’t buy it then. Does anyone know if it will been available soon and I would cancel my SES1000. Thanks

CraftsRsewFun – I had another comment but not sure what happen to it. Go to Design in the menu and click on change size option.change size screen size pops up. You can change it from mm to inches. when you change the x size the y size automactically changes. click on activate stitch processor. press ok. your design in the hoop will automatically change size. Go to View in the menu and then click on realistic view. Your design will show up exactly how it will look once it’s stitch out. have fun.

  • kyucker says:

CraftsRsewFun – excuse my spelling. Rewizing is Resizing and then the stitch count will chow up is will show up.I hope that this will help you. You will need to choose a design and have it in the hoop in the screen. Follow the directions above. go to singerco.com go to FAQ’s click on Sometimes when I resize a design it is not dense enough.doc – then print the directions out. This may be more helpful. Play around with this until you get the hang of it. Have Fun.

When will you be haveing the Singer® Futura Quartet 4-in-1 Sewing Machine on again? Please e-mail me when you have this on again. Can’t pass it up.
    Thanks

to tbirdtammy – Walmart has the Singer 5 thread serger on line for $799.00. I will be buying the Singer Professional HD sewing machine to help out with all of the sewing repairs that I been doing. The problems that I was having with my Singer Futura CE150 embroidery machine had been resolved by Singerco. I had been enlarging my designs by stretching them in the frame on the screen instead of having to go through the menu. All I can say is Thank-you Singerco.

    Darlene,

I know there is a show on Jan 10th that is the only one that I see in the program, I am wondering will singer come back out with the professional 5 thread serger any time in January or any time next year. I have one and love it but when you are sewing mutiple items and need to use the cover stitch it become a pain to keep changing the serger. I think anyone will do.

    Thanks

Darlene Cahill – questions regarding the Singer CE-150. Will the editing program calculate the number of stitches needed in a design when enlarge? Will this program fill in the gaps that are created by the design being enlarged? After enlargeing a design I always have to send each of the patterns over to the machine 2 more times just to fill in the gaps. I figured that this was due to having just the basic software. Is this a normal occurance or not a normal
    occurance?

  • kyucker says:

Dear Darlene – I have another question regarding the Singer CE-150 machine. I am having problems with enlarged designs. When I enlarge a design to embroidery I have to send the same stitch to the machine 2 to 3 times just to get it fill in without leaving gaps. Is this a software problem? I have the basic software that came with the machine. Would the editing software adjust the stitches when the design is enlarge? When I leave the design alone the machine fills in perfectly. What can be wrong?

  • kyucker says:

Hi Darlene, I have a question. Is the arm on the Singer Heavy Duty Professional Item# 450-083 have a larger opening than the Singer 7470 machine? I spent most part of today sewing patches on older throws and quilts. That’s a lot of material to shove through the opening on the Singer 7470. There has to be a machine with a larger opening that will accommodate such bulky items. I’ve been checking the Singer HD Professional in hopes that this would be the machine that would do the job. Is it? Thanks
