SSC Celebrates Their Sweet 16 Anniversary w/ the Launch of C-Morning Magic
In early March, our own Cecilia Stock hosted an informal skin care workshop at our Las Vegas headquarters to introduce a local group of customers to our latest innovation in skin care, the C-Morning Magic.
C-Morning Magic is our overnight, exfoliating micro-cream – at Cecilia’s workshop, she explained to our guests what makes the C-Morning Magic different from other exfoliants – including our own best-selling C-Extreme Results. To help you understand the importance of regularly exfoliating your skin, and how your skin can benefit from the C-Morning Magic – and/or the C-Extreme Results – we’ve included in this blog post a “Serious Minute” video from Cecilia Stock that explains more about these two dynamic products.
During Cecilia’s workshop, guests attending were given the C-Morning Magic and asked to replace their night-time regimen that evening before bed and use the C-Morning Magic exclusively after cleansing. The same women were then asked to return to our offices the next day and tell their thoughts – explain to us on camera – how the product worked for them and the difference they saw in their skin – after just once application. The reviews were amazing! Overwhelmingly – those who tried the product felt that their skin looked and felt renewed, smooth and plump – again – just after one application!

I love SSC products, but am in “overwhelm” over all the choices. I’m all for innovation, change and trying new things, but it would be nice to have a choice of a daily basic kit…cleanser, serum, AM/PM moisturizer and eye cream. Something simple that one can order on Auto Ship. You can add a Definer, Firm-a-Face or Chin Cream as needed. The “A” line works best for me (I’m in my late 50, with pretty good skin.) Is there any chance of getting a basic “A” kit in the future?
Hi. Last year, SSC offered a kit that had some of my favorite SSC products in it. It isn’t available on HSN anymore, and buying the products separately is cost prohibitive for me. I cannot recall all products in the kit, but I know it included; Super Mel C, Seramins, C Eye Serum, A-Eye, A-Force XR. Will a kit like this one be offered again anytime soon? I’m keeping my fingers crossed… :)

While it is unlikely we would exactly repeat a kit, we do rotate our products, so you should expect to see your favorites come up again, although they may not be in the exact configuration you ordered in the past.
I love SSC products. Two of the products I love I cannot order anymore. One is a fragrance called “Sistine” and the other was a lip stain. Will these be offered again?
I just received The Beauty Book Vol. V. It has a wide selection of products and how to use each one..but how do I fit all of them in each day? Is that the intent of the kit? I’m confused. It seems like it would be overkill on products. So how do i form a routine with these? I am new to Serious Skin Care and thought this kit would be a good place to start. HELP!

First of all, thanks so much for trying the Beauty Book V, Traditionally we release a new Beauty Book with previews of products we plan to introduce during the coming year, along with existing customer favorite items. So, it is not a regimen kit, in which you would use all of the products at once in a particular order. We suggest that you try using at most 2 serums at a time, followed by 2 creams at most. You might want to rotate days to fit them all in.
hello. im 52 and use the reverse lift kit mixed with insta tox during the day and love it. i use the a serum at night. when could i incorporate some resveratrol? thanks….

Why not add your Resveratrol Drench cream over the serum at night. You will find that our products go very well with one another. Thanks for your post.
Where oh where and when oh when will you offer A Wash cleanser in kits and (especially larger sizes)on easy pay + auto ship). If I could only bring one SSC product to a desert island this one is it. You offer deals on the C, Olive and Glycolic frequently, but they don’t work for me. I am so frustrated that I am looking at other companies to see if I can find something comparable. PLEASE offer A Wash more often, and with more favorable pricing/terms. Anyone else feel as I do?

We do bring the products out in full sizes after they are previewed in our Beauty Books. We actually have you vote for your favorites as to the order in which they appear!
The surprise kits are usually a good deal. But sometimes it seems like you’re putting one great product in it and the rest is inventory you’re trying to get rid of. Money’s tight, and if I’m going to throw it away, I’ll buy a lottery ticket. How about offering a “your choice of 3 products” sale where we can choose what we want from a variety of lines (I like a lot of different thing you offer) and that way nothing winds up in the trash. Just saying….

How do we find out which product is the best (which I love all of the serious skin care products that I’ve tried) that minimizes facial pores – I’m 46 and I’m told I don’t look 46 quite often plus I work full time, mother of 4 children, 18, 16 & 7 yr old girls & an 8 yr old boy so I’m pretty active and I want to stop and reverse the aging process NOW! You can call or email our customer service line for advice. Glycolic cleanser will get your pores deep clean and you should try applying FirmAFace for some temporary help with those pores.
And one more request, can you make a 32 oz Glycolic Cleanser? I’m sure a lot of customers would purchase, considering it’s HSN’s #1 cleanser and everyone loves it. Thanks!!

You would use your serum first, then the C Morning Magic. OK for the eye area, with the usual caution not to get any products in your eyes.
I love the C Morning Magic which came in a Vit.C kit I purchased several months ago. It’s so creamy and moisturizing. I wake up with some of the product still on my face working, and I can’t believe how soft my face is. This entire kit has really made a huge difference to my 52-year-old skin. I have a lot of sun damage and very dry skin.The products are helping to improve my skin tone and working on the wrinkles that seem to be dryness-related.Must try the mask,C Extreme Results.
I have been using SSC for many years now and love so many different products! One of my favorite products for my lips is the olive oil finishing stick LOVE this!I use it every night & never have chapped dry lips. BUT I have ordered it twice since April and both times I received it the product had to be sent back as it was a bright lemon YELLOW color on the skin? What has happened to this product PLEASE tell me you can or have fixed this problem and let me know when I can reorder thank you!

We are passing your concern along, we are sorry that you were disappointed.
Very disappointed to once again see the same old kits for sensitive skin with no cleanser being offered. Other lines have huge kits with cleansers and extra bonus items at great prices. Please consider doing kits with the glucosamine cleanser! If you read the reviews on this line you will see this is something that would be much appreciated by those of us who love and depend on these products. Thanks!

I have used almost every skin care known to mankind.A couple I have tried left my chin and side of my face scarred.Then I came across your product.I have tried as much as I can of your products and tried the C kit you had last visit.No skin problems from your line.Only problem I have is I can barely get anything at all out of the Vibe C tri roller.Other than that I love it all

Glad to hear that you are tolerating our products so well, including the C kit. There should be enough product in the C Eye Opti Vibe for an average usage of 2 months. You only need to squeeze it until you just see the serum appear by the roller balls. Thank you for your post.
I’m sorry but I’m on my 3rd Vibe C tri roller. There is no way they last 12 months. Squeeze???? I squeeze until I’m purple and sometimes it will work but most times it is just dry.I have tried everything, even cut one open to find the serum was all clumped and hardly any in it. Hi Jennifer! I like your new C-line, everything from the kit works well for me, except a C-eye serum(cream). My around eye area was burning every time I put it, finally I got an irritation and stop using it. My question is can I use C-eye cream as a face serum?

We are sorry that you experienced a burning sensation around your eye area. If you want to use it up on a less sensitive area such as the tops of your hands you can certainly do so.
Hi Jennifer, I love your new Vitamin C line. It’s the best I have ever seen it. No more sticky serum’s etc. I also wanted to thank you for putting expiration dates on your products. I have long awaited this. I will not buy products unless I know they are brand new. I have gotten so many “OLD” Products from HSN.” So, I have been begging for it, you have started to do this. I have been set up on AutoShip for the Color of the Season (Light)kit for the past several years now. Today I received an email notifying me that the autoshipment due to go out today was cancelled and that the next one scheduled was in July. I spoke with an HSN customer service rep who was unable to locate an explanation for the cancellation. Are these ProMineral kits being discontinued?
I am 61, very fair, washed out, uneven skin tones. I dot my face all over with a semi generous amt, use a sponge and it blends flawlessly. It takes me about 10 minutes to apply all the items in the kit. I luv the idea of everything is in one place. I don’t end up leaving a bunch of make-up on the counter then. I want to order another one, but it is not available in medium. I am so sad. I have been looking for years for this answer. Help me out Jennifer!! I wish I would of done autoship.

Passing along your comments and requests for changes in the foundation colors. As you probably know, yellow base neutralizes redness and the pink tones aid sallow complexions.
NO GREEN NEUTRALIZES REDNESS & YELLOW NEUTRALIZES BLUE. FOR SALLOW COMPLEXIONS MAUVE OR LAVENDER. ALL THESE CAN BE USED AS A BASE OR UNDER MAKEUP PRIMER, NOT TO BE USE IN A FOUNDATION. I love SSC and have been using your products for years. As my skin changes I try different products in the line to achieve better results. I’m now 46 y/o and am what Jen refers to as a sinker and sagger. I can’t use the Reverse Lift line as it does contain some acids (AHA’s cause me to break out). Any suggestions?
