Serious Skincare: February Power Visit
I would like to begin by thanking all of you for the enthusiasm you showed us as we jumped into 2012 with our New Beginnings Event in January. The excitement and support we received from both existing clients and new customers were gratifying to my entire team. The evolution has just begun! In the coming months you will see Serious Skincare continue to move forward, building on what we know works and embracing the change that we all know is necessary to grow.
We typically do not have a full, multiple-day visit to HSN in February. It’s always a short visit to allow you to stock up on your favorite skincare line. It’s also a time when we can showcase something new and exciting in an abbreviated visit – we call them Power Visits. My team and I will descend on Florida on President’s Day to prepare for our one-day visit on Tuesday, February 21st.

I was wondering if the A Force XR Retinol Serum formula has changed? I recently opened a new Serum and found it had a very strong unpleasant smell and the color seemed milky instead the golden hue it usually has. I can’t return since it was purchased apporx. 3 months ago. Do not want to use if something is wrong with the product. Any suggestions or answers????

The A Force XR in the tube was not changed. However, we have newly repackaged A Force now in a bottle which is doubled in strength. You can call customer service for more information.
I LOVE my SSC products. My face has never been in better condition. I am 59 and feel better about my skin than I did at 40. I’ve recently been using the “Moisture Builder” for extra moisture during the day and have found this to be a miracle product for me! I use it under my liquid foundation. I am VERY sad to see that it is on clearance, as I assume it means it will be discontinued. I bought 5 jars!!
My question is: Should I refrigerate my stocked up items? Thank you!!

Thank you for the wonderful praise of our products. We do not recommend refrigerating them. Storing them at room temperature is best.

I have just been advised that my auto shipment of Instatox is not available. Also, it is not available to be ordered. Does this mean that SSC is no longer producing it? Big mistake. I’ve tried the newer products without good results. I thought this was a real flagship product for SSC. Seems this company is developing too many new products. At first I was really impressed with the quality but am losing respect for this kind of production.

Is there ever going to be a “C” kit that contains the C ester facial cleanser, the “C” eye treatment, the “C” serum and the “C” cream SPF 30. The four products all in one kit would be much more convenient and cost saving, like some of the auto ship kits. I also have the same question for the Reverse Lift line with Agrifirm. The cleanser, eye cream, facial serum and facial cream. Also make this available in auto-ship. Would be more cost affective for us all. Thank you.

We welcome your requests for kit configurations. While we did have exactly the C Kit you requested earlier this year, currently we have this one which is very close. 180-634. It is called the Power Of C.
For the Reverse Lift we currently offer a trio. Item #183-521, and you could also purchase the new Reverse Lift Cleanser separately.
Question for Jennifer about the A-Cream XR Nanoencapsulated Retinol Cream…I have a skin condition called Granuloma Annulare on my hands sometimes the outbreak is dormit and sometimes it comes to life, well I am battling it right now, I have found that by putting the above product on it soothes it and it keeps from spreading it doesn’t get rid of it, and there is nothing out there that I can buy other then this that helps, can a stronger version be created? I will test it??? KMann

I am relieved to read other comments re the use of the facial toning system. I don’t know if I have improvement; its been about a week, but my skin seems a bit tauter. I haven’t been able to put the intensity above 3 bars for above my eyes. It actually hurts any higher. The on air models sure didn’t look like they were in any pain nor did their face/neck contort like mine does during use. I use 5 bars for rest of my face. I’d like to see the new video before my 30 days run out to return it.

I purchased the toning system; have used everyday since I got it; I see no improvement whatsoever. Never mind it feels as though I’m sparking myself with electricity. How can that be good for me? I’ve also used 1/2 the tube of gel. I put the gel on my face and a little on the nodules and the gel dries almost instantly and I have to add more. I just don’t see how this is going to work. Do not like that cleanser at all-smells awful. I am not sure this is a good machine;think NUFACE may be better!

We thank you for purchasing the toning system. You should allow approximately 4-6 weeks to see results. You can adjust the intensity level lower for more comfort using the red button on the outside of the side with the screen. We will soon be posting an instructional video online.
Hi, I’ve asked this question a few times before but know one frm SSC has responded. As I previously mentioned, I notice during presentations they say to go from outer to inner corner when applying eye cream, then inner to outer under the brow. Since I’ve been doing the opposite which is inner to outer under and over the eye, have I been causing harm? The skin under my eye is very thin and I dont want to make it worse.

Ladies, I don’t know about you, but, after all the years of being a devoted follower of SSC, I almost feel insulted that they should come out with such a failure in the way of a facial toning system. I spend more time resetting the machine than getting the treatment. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Also, could they have put more perfume in that facial wash? SSC has so many wonderful products that it’s hard to believe more thought wasn’t put into this one.
I thought I didn’t understand the directions but had the same experience of never getting it to work – that is, basically, staying on! SSC should really know better than to make this failure of a system. There is absolutely no reason why this should be so complex. I have used many other facial toning systems and the very basic ones work fine. This is definitely going back.
I just tried mine today and I am very confused! I have to agree with you, I have no idea what the beeping means and I too had to keep resetting it to get it to work! Like KP12 below, I just kept increasing the intensity to get it to work! The manuel doesn’t give much information, so I thought I watch the product video again just incase I missed something….but that’s gone too!
This product was quite an investment and I am a bit annoyed.
We will be soon posting a video with instructions as to how to use the facial toning device. Please note: the toner is set to stop after 60 seconds, when you should move it to the next area of your face. To start it again, you simply touch the green intensity up button once.
I agree the perfume is quite strong, its can be overpowering. As far as the machine I cant feel the muscle stimulation even on level 10. All I could feel was the tingling which feels more like getting shocked or how a laser feels. Im not comfortable with that near my temples. Maybe that should air it again with a clear demonstration and offer it discounted to those who spent money returning it due to lack knowing how to use it properly. If it works (giving benefit of doubt).
I agree with the usage of this machine. For the price it should have been made a bit better. It feels cheap and does not put off the current like the derma wand. I am sending back because of this. If it could work more like the derma wand with the dual handles it would be great. I keep a derma wand in my desk at work and at home. It is easy to use and no hassles. I also did not like the facial wash. Hard to rinse off & feels to soapy. Sorry but going back.Question ? What ever happened to Lisa ?
I’ve been using the C products for 8 years and also buy for my Mom. The new containers seem bulky and wasteful, The old ones traveled very well now you’ve got all this extra packaging.The new pump and dropper thing is horrible. I just recently bought a C kit for Mother’s day and I know my Mom will hate the way the product dispenses and probably won’t use it. Pump, twist, drop instead of just pump and there’s a higher chance of dropping and spilling it.

Questions re the Facial Toning System. I did a little on-line research before purchasing the system by reading about the Nuface system. After reading the SSC manuel I’m confusing the different things I’ve read. First, can I put a serum on before using the machine? If yes, what serums are OK and what aren’t? Second, once the 5-60 seconds have run out, the only way to start again is to reset the intensity, right? This isn’t addressed in the manuel. And last, when do I use the lifting pads?

We strongly suggest that you use the conductive gel packed with your toning system. Put the gel on a clean face, and also dab it on the four silver balls. You can use your serums afterwards.
I am a faithful A-Copper cream user and my stash has run out!! I’ve been told this item will no longer be available. Does anyone know why or what similar cream I might try. Also My granddaughters like the foaming face wash and I’m told that is no longer available either. I will appreciate any comments or recomendations.
Jennifer, I bought the A kit and received it and none of the pumps work – not on the cleanser or the serum pump or cream pump. I have to open the bottles and try pouring it out. The kit is no longer available in the todays special I received. Please change the pumps to normal. It’s the new pump pressing from the top and then opening to the dropper. I love the products but these pumps are really difficult. Thank you so much.

I have a request. If anyone can develop this product, I know Jen can!!! I would LOVE a spray on SPF for my face that doesn’t require rubbing it in.
Sometimes I have a full face of makeup and want to up my SPF. If there was something that I could just “mist” on it would be perfect. I can’t be the only one who would use this product daily to set my makeup.

Prime example is the new container for the cleansers. The pump is terrible. I am having to transfer the contents to different type dispenser that has a pump that works.

i agree with the women who would like to see your A & C combined in one kit. It would give us a chance to have a little of both at a more afforable price. And like she also said make it a core kit.
Also, I use to use SSC C kit but do to servere allergies, i had to discontinued using. I’m going to retry and see if my face will tolorate your C products. I truly hope I can.

Hi, I have not used SSC for a few years, but I did get the TS, I am over 60 and hope that it will work. Hearing yesterday about our economy and money being tight, I think I would try your products again if you would make a kit with A and C together for us elders. Something simple and easey and keep the kit as a core. Some of us just want simple, complete and uncomplicated. Please think about thise. THANK YOU for your time.

I have been watching your anniversary show, but have not really seen any olive oil kits of substance. Specifically, I use the replenishing body oil, and it absorbs very quickly into my skin. I used to be on auto delivery but i discontinued it bec i was not happy with the cleanser. Howver, i was quite happy with the other moisturizing products. Please bring the olive oil kits back.

I am trying to find a new skin care and wanted to try Serious Skincare. I am 49 and have normal skin, few wrinkles but have noticed that now I am finding the skin beginning to sag a little, lines at the eyes and between the brows. I would like to try a skincare that is meant for my age, prevention and age defying. One that has SPF in the skincare as well.

You can pick up the Reverse Lift kit for your sagging skin, and we suggest the Vitamin C line as well, which contains a cream with SPF 30.
I paid attention to the presentation of your new machine, but Shannon talked too much, and I didn’t get to see CiCi demonstrate it, especially if I thought about buying it. How do you use it under your eyes, and how do you use it on your neck? The specifics I have learned from watching Suzanne Sommers, but you failed to mention exactly what is happening with the electrical impulses. What is going to happen to my skin if afterwards I use Instatox? Ladies demonstrate more and talk less.

There is an extensive user manual that comes in your package, there are diagrams that show where to use the toning device. You can still use Insta-Tox or any of our other products.
Can my tween daughter safely use any of SSC products?

Hi, Please help and respond to my question. I want to know how come when I watch the show or videos on HSN you say to go from the inner corner to the outer when I apply I cream. I often find myself going fron the outter corner to the inner corner. Is that wrong?
Underneath your eyes, go from the outer to the inner. Then swoop it up under your brow (inner to outer). Hope this helps!
Will you be bringing back Squalane 99? I am down to my last bottle. Its the best product for my decollete. It absorbs so much better than the olive oil and doesn’t discolor my clothes and has no scent. Please bring this back!!
