Serious Skincare: February Power Visit
I would like to begin by thanking all of you for the enthusiasm you showed us as we jumped into 2012 with our New Beginnings Event in January. The excitement and support we received from both existing clients and new customers were gratifying to my entire team. The evolution has just begun! In the coming months you will see Serious Skincare continue to move forward, building on what we know works and embracing the change that we all know is necessary to grow.
We typically do not have a full, multiple-day visit to HSN in February. It’s always a short visit to allow you to stock up on your favorite skincare line. It’s also a time when we can showcase something new and exciting in an abbreviated visit – we call them Power Visits. My team and I will descend on Florida on President’s Day to prepare for our one-day visit on Tuesday, February 21st.

I’m sure no one at Serious Skin Care actually reads these comments, but I’d like to know what happened to the ProFirm liquid foundation? Is that discontinued? It’s the only liquid foundation I wear and I see you no longer carry medium. The one in the tube doesn’t work well for me. I hope it’s not being discontinued. I know others are disappointed to see it isn’t being sold any longer. I’ll have to change brands if that’s the case.

No one had ever addressed we dry skin sufferers. Nothing would quench it until I found the Olive Oil line. Thanks for the update and I know I’m not alone. Love this line and I will go on auto delivery. It’s been too hard to live without it!!

I want to thank you for making so many wonderful products that help with our skin. I recently ordered the am/pm eye cream with bonus Mascara and I have to say this is probably the best eye cream I have ever used, there is only 1 complaint I would like to make. When I opened the jars, both of them looked 1/2 empty. I realize products settle, but these were seriously 1/2 empty. I’m on autodelivery and concerned that every jar is going to be that way…..

Our products are filled and sold by weight, not volume. Rest assured that you did get the .5 oz. in each of your Eyetality eye creams, even though the jars do not appear full.
Dear Jennifer,Cece and HSN,I have been a loyal user of SCC for many years,and have shared many products with my mother.I recently discovered that many of the products I have been using,i.e. Retinol XR,Insta-tox,Correc-chin,Glycolic Cleanser,& Reverse Lift have numerous Parabens,Diazolidinyl urea,and Propylene Glycol in their ingredient decks.I recently became aware that these can be harmful to one’s health.I feel I should stop using these products and am very diappointed about it.Can you fix it?

Being the type of cancer(colon) and being as agressive as it was, I had to have chemo. 3 days a week for 24hrs each day, every other week. It was really not kind to my skin. I would really like your input.

So sorry to hear of your illness, and the toll it has taken on your skin. Others have had good results using the Vitamin C regimen after treatment. We do suggest you check with your doctors first for recommendations before using anything on your skin.
Please please tell me what I need to use for the bags under my eyes…they are horrible….I have lost weight int he past year, and been ill, but this is ridiculous…thank God I need glasses, or it would be so much more prominent for others to see, I look tired and drained….HELP.

You can use the Pure Pep serum on clean skin, and then use your C or A serum over it, followed by the rest of your regimen.
What happened to the Replicate and Renew Stem Cell products? They were not shown at all during this visit. I feel bad because I spent a lot of money on these products, and now I am wonder if I made a huge mistake anymore. I am asking myself “Do they really work”. Hopefully I will receive a response from you telling me all is well. Thank you for reading this!

I’m wondering why fragrance is always in your skincare products. Many of us have allergies to fragrance and having products with fragrance close to your eyes and nose is a serious issue. Fragrance isn’t necessary for a skincare product to work and be effective.

Hello Jennifer. I have always wanted to try your products but never know what to buy. I am 33 years old and have a history of acne. I have a lot of acne scars on my face. Do you have a produce that would help reduce the look of the scaring. Also, what would be a good line for me to try. Thanks!

You should try the Glycolic Renewal Gel for your acne scars. If you still are experiencing acne, you can pick up the Continuously Clear Adult Acne trio.
I recently ordered the “color me vitamin c age defying kit”. The exp. date on the cream in 12/13. The other two skincare products don’t have an exp. date on them. Can I assume the date is the same?
I just started using your products– I got the A line kit–is that best for o0lder skin?

Yes, you will benefit from the retinol and retinol palmitate in the A line. You might also look at some of our other lines, depending on your skin issues. Vitamin C, Olive Oil for dry skin, or the Reverse Lift products if you have sagging skin.
I h15 yr olave been using your products for many years, and I was wondering if you will bring back the sulfer cleansing bar soap, I hope you will since it was the best for breakouts and keeping my skin clear, I also shared with a young man nest door who was having a problem with acne,and he came to me for more. (A 15 year old). Please Please bring it back!!

I have many SSC products, but on one of the visits Jennifer mentioned that the Retinal line should be used by itself. In another show, a caller mentioned they mix the retinal with another line, and it was mentioned that was okay.
I want maximum results. Should the Retinal line be used by itself? Or, can I mix serums, such as C or Creamerum with it?

All of our products can go with one another. You can rotate as you wish. If you are layering, you can use up to 2 serums at a time.
Jennifer I have been using your products for years and all my daughters use it as well. As I get older I am having to get off of all the firming and aging and acne products. My skin has changed so much and I think it is because of my diabetes so the only cream I can use is the EMU and ALOE. I have ordered it in quantities before but I am about to run out and I need more but it is not available. Please bring it back so I can continue to use something I know works for me and I trust.
