Serious Skincare- Jennifer’s Birthday!
Happy Summer! If you are like me, those once lazy days of Summer have become some of the busiest times of the year… Wrapping up Summer activities with the kids and preparing for back to school.
As always, Sly and I make every effort to balance our professional obligations and our family time. Family time is a priority for us – particularly this Summer. We are now in the midst of joining Sly on some of his international work preparing for the release of the EXPENDABLES sequel. We are enjoying time with him on the road – and trying to not get in the way! LOL
Every Summer – every August – I have that pesky, bothersome milestone return – you know, that BIRTHDAY thing… This year, it’s number 44!
Growing older is as much a mental process as it is a physical one…Physically, I do my best to take care of myself. I feel good and thanks to Serious Skincare, I feel my skin looks better today then it did when I started on HSN nearly 18 years ago…Mentally, well, there are times I feel every bit my age, and other times that I think that I am cool and I hang out with my girls!

I just received samples of Replicate & Renew Advance Concentrate and Cream. It makes my skin so soft. Is this different from the R&R that is now on HSN without “Advance” in the name? If so, when will the Advance be available for purchase?
I have tried and continue to try all of your products and I am desperate to find something that will take the crows feet and wrinkles from around my eyes and my 11 lines away. NOTHING I have tried has helped. Any help for me?

Canola oil is one of the first ingredients in the “replicate and renew” products. Why? For those people whe have had acne or have acne or breakouts this is a definite no-no!
Is there a glycolic eye cream or eye treatment? Would love one since the rest of this line works so well. Thanks’ Lisa

Hi Jennifer – I have been a faithful follower of SSC for over six years. No other product comes close to comparison. However, I am throrougly disappointed that the flex pay options are virtually eliminated for the kits. This poses a hardship to those of use who utlize this option. It makes your line more affordable. Hope you can bring them back…Gemma

Jennifer, do you plan on having more of the eye cream with the peptide that stimulates lash growth? and is this still a good product to use, or is there a better product?
Or can I use it together with something else to get the lash effect and a firming eye cream? Thank you.

I love your A cream and have used it for years. Any time I try anything else, my skin goes down hill and I go right back to it. One of the things I love about it was the 30 SPF. I noticed the new A cream doesn’t say that it has it. Is there some reason you have taken the SPF out of the A cream? Can we bring it back? Pretty please.

Thank you for the education your team provides. Thank you especially for bringing multitasking, everyday-use SPFs, and for no/limited animal testing. I love my microcurrent egg and what it does for my skin. I keep it and the gel in my TV remotes caddy!
Jennifer, do you still offer the Eye Totality that is blue/purple in color for eyes at night, and has the petitude for lash/brow growth?
Or is there a replacement product. Any change on your lash serum returning?

Happy Birthday Jennifer & Stacy! I’m 54, been using SSC (head to toe) for 8 years, my 16 year old now using your products too. All your products are wonderful! In a store recently, sat down at one of those high end makeover counters,the cosmetic artist commented how young/tight my skin was! Told everyone in ear shot about SSC! I’ve watched SSC shows for years and tried many products that I saw work so well for my friends. I had been hunting for something that would work well for my sensitive skin and found the Glucosamine line. I totally loved that it kept my skin smooth, clean, and moisturized w/o any redness or irritation. I don’t see kits? Is there a product recommended for those of us who need extra gentle but real benefits? I’m 60 and thanks to SSC had beautiful skin. My line just isn’t there now. What to do?

Besides the glucosamine, we do recommend our olive oil products for sensitive skin, as well as Replicate and Renew Plant Stem Cell line.
Thank you Serious Friend. I have tried both and may try again after I get my skin calmed down. After talking to SSC customer service I have ordered multiples of the glucosamine cleanser and serum as these two products have never failed to calm my skin down and I’m very afraid they are being discontinued. I’m hoping this line comes back in affordable kits as so many people need/love it and know it does wonders for sensitive aging skin.
Sorry Jennifer for the long detailed sob story as I am sure you have heard enough of them.I just don’t want to lose my soulmate and if we don’t get a miracle,I want to at least be able to make her be able to look in the mirror, feel pretty as she is gorgeous.We tried your Vitiman C line yet she got acne from it yet it works great for me.What do you suggest that could get her skin one color& also help with acne she has for the 1st time in her life.Thank you,you are so beautiful

Happy B-day. We have the gommage and love it as I ordered your vitiman c set for my wife since she is terminally ill. Unfortunetly it broke her out yet i use it,its great.My wife woke up after not seeing the outside for 4 years except when transfered via amulance to doctors, etc,. with burned skin&it is now two colors.We lost our insurance so we need a miracle to keep my wife alive.I am writing to you hoping I can give what time my wife has left some dignity with some of your products.More below

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I have used SSC for around 8 years. I started with the Glucosamine line while my husband used the Olive Oil. Since then I have moved on to the C line and love it! I just recently purchased the A line, and I cant wait to try it. Your products are the best. I love the sizes and the fabulous prices. You make it very affordable to take care of my skin. Thank You.

I LOVE the Glucosamine products, esp the cleanser,serum & moisturizer. Exceptionally gentle and worked wonderfully on my over sensitive skin. Used them for years when there were wonderful kits offered. You can still buy them but they are pricey to get individually. I haven’t found anything else gentle enough for me that actually makes my skin look and feel better anywhere. I miss those kits.

I have used your products faithfully for OVER 15 years and I am a SSC member who happens to be Canadian. Your latest promotion via email for members only is a great deal HOWEVER, unfortunately, I discovered that it’s also ONLY for those people on Facebook (email doesn’t state this fact). What about MEMBERS as loyal as myself? Why penalize those of us who choose not to use social media? I thought a member was a member? I am very disappointed. My email to you has gone unanswered…

The SSC member emails with the latest promotion don’t mention needing to be a Facebook member so I was under the impression that it was for all members.
I think as long as we’re loyal (signed up) SSC members, then we should all be offered the same deals, equally. And for the POWERS THAT BE at HSN, hopefully some day you’ll let Canadians shop there just like we’re able to on the other US shopping channel. Have no fear, we use money here in Canada, not whale blubber.

Hi jennifer. I am a big fan of the A line and was wondering if I could also incorporate the glycolic line and if so how? ie…every other day or week?
Happy Birthday Jennifer, I’ve been watching(and buying) Serious Skin Care since the very beginning. It’s been a ‘lovely’ time seeing the products change as new ones are developed.
