We know you wanted to share how you feel about these exciting new fragrances and we know you want to read other customer’s comments as well. You told us you want to give us specific feedback that you just couldn’t give with the voting poll, so we created this blog exclusively for you, our Customer Voice customer.
We hope you are enjoying Shea Butter with Italian Citrus. We also hope you are enjoying the change in products you received. Please tell us what you think. What I love about our new Shea Butter Citrus is that it is still our same, ultra-hydrating Shea…but now, a new crisp citral – lemon/lime note – has been added! This is particularly great if you like a fresher scent, as opposed to a warm almond or coconut. OR…… even if you just want to “change” from time to time, like I do! I change my routine often – which I find FUN – using citral, floral, spice, or whatever! Skip loves it too because it is a perfect scent for both men and women.

I too am upset about the early cutoff. In general, I love citrus scents because they are crisp, clean and invigorating. However, this scent is very bitter. I would not purchase this scent again. As always, the performance of the product is superior, but the scent is not to my liking.
Unhappy I don’t get to vote. Love the product, especially the lingering scent of the hand cream. My hands look and feel great.
Love this product.Love the scent,sinks right in,makes my hands feel much softer.I’m a nurse and wash my hands many,many times a day.This Shea Butter with Citrus Extract is wonderful.Thanks
Also disappointed by the early cutoff date. I like to enjoy the scents as long as I can before voting. Anyway, I love the opportunity to try hand care products for a change. Usually, I lean toward floral scents, but this citrus scent is so refreshing and I would like to see bath and body products in this scent as well. Love it!!!
Love scent. Would like to have light body butter, like lavender honey in this scent.
Your postcard that came with the product said you value my opinion. Above you ask us to keep the thoughts and comments coming. We were told to vote by the 28th. MY VOTE IS FOR YOU TO FOLLOW YOUR OWN RULES AND ALLOW PEOPLE TO VOTE UNTIL THE 28TH. Very disappointed in you as business people.
I also am disappointed with the early cut off for the vote. This is my favorite IB product so far. I love the hand creme and the fragrance is perfect for me. I work in my garden alot and have native honey bees that are overly attracted to the floral fragrances. I have tried and love the other lemon scented products but I like this one the best.Very fresh and clean fragrance. I can’t wait for a shower gel to be produced.
My postcard says I have until February 28,2010 to cast a vote and here it is only February 25th and ou have closed the poll. I enjoy this program and thought I was responding in time per your request. I did enjoy this product and was actually glad that it was not the usual items — I cannot use all of them as fast as I purchase them. The Shea butter handcream is especially nice as it sinks into my hands and does not leave them greasy feeling. Thanks for this change — I am sorry you cut off.
I’m sorry this poll has ended. I tried yesterday but couldn’t get thru to enter my feelings. I luv this product – it’s a soft, mild scent that makes me feel clean. It doesn’t mix with other scents so I feel free to use perfume with this. Anyhow, I enjoyed these products & will use them all summer cause I smell clean not perfumy. I keep smelling my hands – it’s refreshing.. Thanks so much, Marion.
Thought I had till 2/28 to vote. I hope my vote will still count. I love the Shea Butter and Citrus. I think it will be great during the summer months when you want a lighter scent.
What’s with the early cut-off? I love Shea Butter, but this smelled like grapefruit. Much prefer the others.
Is this an Italy reject?
There is just no painless way to say this, but the Shea Citrus just plain ol’ STINKS. It also makes my eyes water and is just too strong in general. The dry down is the worst. There is some element there that leaves an ammonia-like smell (if you know what I mean). Sorry, but this one is a D-U-D.
To bad the cut off date was not followed, I have to go to the library to use their computer. Any way, loved the Shea Butter & Citrus scented products. Even my helpers loved it too.

I agree,HSN ought to honor the cut off date(s)on the card,mine also says Feb 28 2010.
I was not impressed with this product,I thought it smelled like grapefruit.

Well gee gosh, my card said I have till February 28, 2010 to vote, but alas the polls are closed. So here goes …. I love the shea butter in both the hand cream & the liquid soap. Unfortunately the scent in the hand cream is way too pungent for me. Makes my eyes water. The liquid soap scent is lighter but still too strong for me. If both were way lighter in scent they would be refreshingly good for summer. The liquid soap especially in the kitchen after doing dishes.
Love the Shea Butter, like the scent. If I was able to vote, I would have said it was ok but would not have purchased it again. The only way I get through the winter is with the almond Shea Butter products and I love that scent. If I want citrus, I think the Pink Grapefruit, Lemon Mousse, and Honey and Lemon will be the way to go for me. Don’t get me wrong, I am not sending it back, but this will be the last time I buy it. Looking forward to what comes next.
So happy to be in the program to test new products and scents!!!! Have been purchasing IB for about 5 years. Found the Shea Butter & Citrus very enjoyable for spring & summer. I change scents with the seasons and definitely like this one. Did not find the strong grapefruit essence, I smelled lemon predominately. I would have enjoyed a slightly stronger scent that lasted longer. Still an 8 on my scale. Can’t wait for the next suprise!!!!
As with all others, voting ended,so couldn’t give my five star approval. I wasn’t a citrus fragrance person before the Shea & Citrus, but I find it very nice, plus, it is invigerating. I find the hand wash & hand cream to be very effective. If you make the full body works, I would definitely use some of the time when needing more get up and go, but not every day. I also, like to change of and on. Granddaughter liked product and my niece loves every thing I give her.
When did the voting end? I wanted to give the Shea Butter with Citrus a fair trial period before voting – guess I missed it. The liquid soap has an overpowering grapefruit scent and is much too strong for me. I would have preferred just the lemon scent. Handcream is quite thick and a little difficult to work in, but seems effective. My all time favorite scent with the Shea Butter was the Tuberose. Would love you to bring that one back.
I was happy to see others were surprised that the poll was all ready closed. You probably missed alot of responses by that…..Anyway, I couldn’t have loved it MORE! Didn’t think I was a citrus lover, but you proved me wrong. In fact next month you can jusy send me this one again. HA! HA! Also liked the idea of hand cream and soap. Great job…….

Like the person before me I went in to vote on 2-23-2010 and it said voting had ended but my card with the order said I had until 2-28-2010 to vote. I love the product and would give it a five star because the texture is so velvet and I can’t tell that the citrus is that strong. Would like to have you get the dates right next time.
I am a new customer on the Customer Voice Program. I just tried to log my vote only to find the poll has ended. Today is only 2/23 and per the instructions I received with my order, delivered on 2/12, the close date is 2/28. This is not a good start if new customers votes are to count. I do like the Shea Butter and the Citrus is a good change, the citrus scent to me is a bit strong but it does fade to a pleasent fragrance.
