Hi SSC,I hope you bring back a basic C-kit! Luvluv C scrub but its never in kits! The C line was my 1st purchase w/you about 11 years ago-it actually took away some small wrinkles on my left cheek that I was getting from driving to-n-from work (live in So Cal). Love Glycolic cleanser. My Mom likes trying your new products; loves your makeup and THE mascara. But as everyone is asking please bring back more basic kits-the stuff that made us love you. I am new to skin care. I bought the instatox. Love it, but not sure how to use products. Do you put it on and then makeup? Seems to wash away the instatox. Love to learn skin care, but things need to have layering instructions. I guess I can’t you skin creme when using instatox? Please help me!

I have been using SSC for over 10yrs but I am becoming disappointed because of the lack of offering more kits to choose from. With only 2 kits offered it makes single purchases necessary. Other skin lines offer kits I may have to change skin care. Sorry to leave but economics necessary plus with the kits I get more new products.

We do bring out new kits for every visit. There is a rotation for the various lines that are offered. Hopefully you will be able to buy your favorite products in a kit soon.
Awful, awful, awful! I bought the C-ester Special kit a few weeks ago. I dried out my skin! I now have dry patches all over my face from your terrible product, and HSN would not allow me to give my review. I will never purchase from you again, Jennifer, as I will have a cracked, patchy face for all of my holiday events!

I have been useing ssc for 10 years and now everytime I use any of your’ll products patches of red dry skin. Even my hands are affected. What are you putting in your’ll products now?
Every year I get SSC for Christmas including the Beauty Book and usually another kit as well. Last year, I got a Beauty Book for myself and my sister. But this year I was sad to see no Beauty Book and even more disappointed in the kit offerings overall. They weren’t that exciting or had any “must have” products. So for the first time in years, I won’t be getting any SSC under the tree. It just seems SSC is scaling back and just offering the basics, which concerns me greatly about SSC’s future.

I have used Serious Skin Care for over 10 years now and I LOVE most all of the products. I am 37 years old and have women in their 20’s comment when they find out how old I am! I just tried the new facial peel and what an amazing product!!! I felt it working, I saw a wonderful difference when I was through. I HIGHLY recommend this product! Thanks for ordering both kits. Our products go well with one another, if you decide to layer, but for simplicity, you might want to alternate days.

Hi,I just received my Beauty Buzz sonic cleanser kit. I purchased it for my teen daughter and myself.I really like this tool but, it did not come with the pink gentle brush. I wanted my daughter to use this brush, because she has very young, soft, undamaged skin.I was a little disappointed, but still like the kit. Also I purchased the C-line doubles kit, and this is the first time i’m trying. I hope I don’t have a skin reaction, because I really love the way my skin feels, and it smells amazing!

I too was really anxious to see what was in the new Beauty Book. It would have been nice if you had addressed the issue while you were on the air, knowing that lots of people were waiting to buy it. The C line (especially DOUBLE quantites) is a poor substitute. I’m sure the sales were disappointing too.

I have been using this product line for a few years now and I have to say that I am disappointed in the kits offered this visit. Unfortunately, I can not use vitamin C line and would love another kit option for my 40 year old skin. I loved the beauty book and all of the cutting edge anti-aging products you would include. I do need to order products but I can’t seem to find a kit for me. Looks like I will have to look elsewhere because my skin can’t wait for the next visit. Sorry to go SCC.

We try to rotate the kits we bring to HSN each visit. We are sorry that you were disappointed in the kits this visit, but there were also many who were pleased. 2012 will bring many exciting kits throughout the year.
I started with the Beauy Book and every year I looked forward buying the Beauty Book. Jennifer “said that was her way of giving back. Last year there were technical difficulties so I was able to purchase one and many others. That is when I change to a different brand on another shopping chanel and getting amazing results with less layering products. Sorry Jennifer you lost this customer when you keep introducing new an amazing products that don’t delivery.

I’m so disappointed! My package that I have been receiving for a year was cancelled without so much as a letter to me. This is the second time this has happened. It never happens at QVC. I called to complain and to explain that my bonus item was not included in the last package I received and they told me that I was not entitled to the bonus. Really? I’ve received it every time I received my past shipments. it makes it difficult to want to do business with this company!

I too am disappointed that there is no beauty book. Last year was my first year and I loved the 2 I ordered. I hope that they will bring those back. On a lighter note, I have used serious skin for many years and I just adore you! You are so beautiful and I think you could sell me anything and I would buy it :) If you look at my HSN history – it is mainly serious skin products. Thank you!!

I started with SSC Rulinea line which I absolutely LOVE! Has the product line been discontinued? I used the anti-wrinkle serum religiously and it works fabulously for me, but I’m on my last few drops and can’t seem to order anymore? If discontinued can you recommend a like product in the other lines? I also love the glycolic daily cleanser and Hydropixel cream. But I hope Rulinea isn’t gone – it is my absolute favorite! i was wondering if you can use the pure -pep on the whole eye area even the eyelids?

The Pure-Pep is not to be used on the eyelids. Please keep it outside the orbital bone area. Thank you for your post and for trying Pure-Pep. We think you will experience great results with it.
can the pure pep peptide concentrate be used around the eye area? I tried many eye creams and nothing seems to work. I have wrinkles, droopy eyelids and dark circles, any advise?

The pure-pep is to be kept outside the orbital bone area. You can try HiBright for the dark circles, and Reverse Lift Eye.
Hi Serious Skin Care People,
SSC states everyone should use a sunblock all the time, but they only have two in the line. How about adding sunblock to more of your products so a person doesn’t have to add another layer on top of the SSC products they have already applied. Until then, if not the two SSC has, what sunblock do you recommend using?

What happened to your annual Beauty Book? I have been waiting for months for the next beauty book. I stayed up all night hoping the next item will be it because I knew the book was always offered during this visit right before Thanksgiving. I do not visit this blog site, however, after reading some of the blogs, I found out there will be no beauty book this year. Was last year the end of the books? So very disappointed.
