Serious Skin Care Celebrates InstA-tox and FirmAFace Anniversaries
We are so lucky to have choices in skin care and beauty today! That being said, the variety of products and innovations that are placed in front of us daily can, at times, be overwhelming. These are all tools you can use to determine what is best for your skin care and beauty needs.
The category of instant topical firmers often invites discussion and passionate commentary. I have lost count of the topical INSTANT firmers over the last decade that have failed to deliver the promise. I am as passionate about our InstA-tox today as I was the day we launched it nearly nine years ago. Help!! I had eye cataract surgery in December and now I don’t have to wear glasses (I’m 55 years old). I was all excited to wear eye make-up and showcase my pretty dark green eyes eyes until I realized how really, really dark and baggy the bags under my eyes are. Seriously, my bags — have bags. I should check my bags in at the airport. My upper lids are OK, its just the bags under my eyes. I never truly thought about my bags until now cuz the glasses covered them. I’m using something to try to lighten the color under by eyes, but even with concealers the darkness shows through. And the concealers look “cakey”. Instatox hasn’t worked. Firm-a-face works on my face but not so much on my bags — the firmess goes away when I put moisturizer or makeup on (even if I mix the Firm-a-face with a moisturizer). And I just started using your facial toning system hoping it will help. Can SSC recommend something else?? ~~Baggy in Michigan

Ceclia, InstA-tox is my best friend. I have heard many testaments that people mix the instA-tox with their foundations, me too. However,it is hard to get the mixture just right,too little,too much. Can you make a foundation and something similar to Hydra-Pixel for those that don’t use a foundation and want some color,glow and add instA-tox in the correct proportions to the ingriedents. I bet these items would be sell outs) Make the foundation(one shade)that adjusts to ones own natural skin tone

I am very dissappointed that you will not be making Rulinea FX anymore. I LOVED that stuff. I dont understand why you are not making it anymore. Please bring it back…it worked wonders for me.

It is just the serum that is being reformulated, and you should see the Rulinea products back in the second half of next year.
Will this mean that my autoship will be re-established or will I have to re-do that? SO glad it is not being discontinued.
My mother age 87 loves the RulineaFX line. and so disappointed that the trio is no longer available. Cannot afford to buy each individually. Please bring back in bundle the serum, face, eye cream and hand cream. She really like the hand cream. You had a trio for the face, eye and hand cream. Was hoping to purchase as Xmas gift.

or any emu and aloe soothing cream. Is SSC still making

I am new to the Serious Skin Care line. I am trying the Replicate and Renew w/bonus Creamerum. I also purchased the Light Fraxion. With all of this on my face (I only use the Creamerum 3x a week as stated), I really don’t need another moisturizer on top. Can I mix a little sunscreen in w/the R&R cream? I do not think that any of the products I mentioned above have suncreen in it. Also, if I use the sunscreen, will that infere w/the Light Fraxion? Am I suppose to be using all at once?

You can apply your sunscreen over the R&R cream if you wish. And you can (and we suggest you should)apply SPF cream over your Light Fraxion. Thanks for your post.
Jennifer & Friends, Want to start by saying I absolutely love sooo many of your products and won’t be without the my Supermel C products, A-Force, C Extreme Results . . . the list is long. I esp. love the Beauty Books, which I, like so many SSC users, collect. In the next BBook could you possibly include the new Creamerum in a full size so we can try it for a bit longer than a month before deciding if we want to switch from our old standby? Again, thanks for such a great produce line!

We do think that you will notice significant change in your skin using the month’s size of the Creamerum Evolve (our trial users did see significant improvement in an even shorter time frame), but we will pass along your suggestion. I watch you all the time, but I am not sure what I should use for my skin. I am 37 and starting to see some wrinkes around my eyes. I still (for some reason) breakout if I use too heavy of products. Do you have a recomendation for me?

I had the same sort of skin as you describe until just recently (hit fifty and . . .) Anyway, I found the C line was fabulous and C Extreme Results especially. That said, only the Olive Oil products could be called “heavy” and none of SSC’s serums or face care is “greasy.” I almost completely stopped breaking out at all when I switched to it from a much more expensive dept. store line. Oh, and you might like a few of the Continuously Clear products, too.

Hi Jennifer! Love your products, keep up the great work! Enjoyed watching you this weekend, just had to tell you that I love your hair cut, love the bangs, they make you look like you are in your 20’s again! Would love for you to sell a kit made up of only your three cleansers (A, C,and Glycolic) in the large 16 oz. size and nothing else. I love to rotate your products and go through the cleansers quicker than the serums and creams.

Hope it’s OK to be a little off topic, but I have been trying to find out when SSC will be back on HSN. Also really want to know if you’ll be offering a new set of A-Defiance / A-Force products. I prefer sets that cover all the skin care needs: serum, face cream, eye cream, etc. in one kit if at all possible. Anything like that coming up?

I really do like Firm-a-face very much and fear that too many aging women fully expected to look 20 years younger. I get compliments from my husband, my sister, who twice asked me if I was losing weight’ and from total strangers. I am fixing to buy another tube!!!
