I have a confession to make – I have an obsession – and NO, it’s not jewelry – you already know about that one!
Sunsets. Yep, I’m addicted to sunsets! If you’re my friend on Facebook, you already know about this obsession…..I just can’t resist taking a photo of a beautiful sunset. Mother nature is an amazing artist and I love to capture her work with my camera every time I have the chance! Sunsets are magic! There’s nothing like watching the horizon change at the end of the day – it can instantly make one feel more relaxed, calm and peaceful.
Every sunset has its own play of color and light. Sometimes orange, gold and red take over and the sun goes down in a blaze of glory! Other nights, the sunset is like a warm hug…leaving a rosy afterglow. I’m always in awe of these natural wonders – being able to witness such beauty gives me a feeling of true joy!
It dawned on me today, that this is probably why I’m obsessed with the new Sajen Silver Opalized Quartz rings….It’s like having a sunset on your finger! These stunning beauties combine cultured opal with faceted Brazilian quartz that create a play of light and color that Mother Nature would be proud to wear! Colleen, I watched your show with Andrew Lessman. You are looking FABULOUS. You mentioned you had used AL’s meal replacement and lost a few lbs. Therefore, I purchased it, too. Can you tell me what a typical day’s menu would be for you? I get too hungry by making a shake with water or milk to hold me over from breakfast and lunch to dinner. When I add fruit, etc. to the shake, I gain weight. Please advise and/or does AL have any menu plans to print out somewhere? Please advise. MANY THANKS!

Thanks for your nice compliment…..It’s taken me over 2 years to lose 25 pounds (about a pound a month!) – so it’s been a long, slow process :) I normally drink one shake a day – sometimes 2 if I feel like a late night treat. I have cut out most sugar from my diet, and I eat very little dairy. I eat tons of veggies and lots of seafood (I’ve cut out red meat). I eat whole grains like oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, brown rice – and I drink lots of water (at leaste 7 bottles/day).

Hi CL! A jewelry stone seen way too rarely is BLACK RUTILATED QUARTZ. In 2009 I found a gorgeous round bead necklace (363-419)which makes people gasp at its beauty each time I wear it. PLEASE get some earrings (maybe bracelet too) to match. Your CL pendant 361-418 might be a good design start as your personal line of jewelry & clothes are the most beautiful & sophisticated…as are you. You (and your HAIR!)are timeless gorgeous. Hey Colleen!! I was wondering if you would be doing more Prestige Necklace boxes? I absolutely loved the original ones that had two pull out sections that were back to back so that you could see all of the necklaces in the box. Oh Colleen, I like that gold and orange. I too love the sunsets. However, when Hubs and I have to chance to getaway to the beach, it’s actually the sunrises that I find the utmost joy in. Maybe we’ll sneak in a getaway in a month or so.

Hi Colleen! OK, I’m going to bug you about the cuff box again. I have an idea: How about designing stretchy “socks” that will fit right over the existing bars in the cuff box. They would be anti-tarnish material, and be thick and puffy. They would add a good one inch circumference to the bars, so cuffs can fit, not slide around and fall off.
Also, you are looking so good lately. What’s up?

I will watch the today’s special coming up with Sajen silver, however, I have been calling and trying to find out where you got that beautiful navy or dark blue beaded like, sort of potay necklace you had on for the today’s special with Andrew Lessman??? You had on an off the shoulder royal or navy-blue top and a perfect matching necklace. I just loved it. I called HSN to see if it was yours or they sold it. Nobody could help. Please write back.
