March is the Ultimate Month to Shop for a Maxi Dress and More
March is my absolute-favorite month to shop! Spring clothing is coming out in full force, and I am ready to say goodbye to my winter wardrobe. Wait until you see what I have in store for you!
Hold onto your hats – I did a to-the-knee version of my ultimate maxi dress and it is TDF (to die for)! It comes not only in solids, but also in a bright, refreshing, juicy watermelon tie-dye; and a swirly, rich, cappuccino, neutral tie-dye. My Long and Lean tank is back, and she comes with her best friend, a long cascading matching cardigan. Love! My Drapey Cardi and Tank Set in blue floral (below) will be available in April!
Drum roll please…I am introducing a brand new, figure-flattering maxi that I can’t wait to show you. It makes your waist look teeny tiny! Remember the ultimate maxi skirt from last month? It also converts into a dress. She’s back too, in new colors and prints. The best part is that this entire delivery is made from my best-selling, soft and stretchy butterknit fabric.
There is so much more, but I have to leave some things as a surprise, don’t I?
I can’t wait to see you at 8 a.m. EST on Sunday, March 11th; and at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, March 12th EST.
See you soon!

I love your dress & top designs BUT I have two complaints. The first is that I wish you wouldn’t make your V necklines so low cut. They are so plunging and show so much cleavage that I can’t wear it to my office, house of worship, ect. So low cut I look like a hooker. The second wish is that you would try using a better quality of fabric (instead of the same thin jersey). A good fabric does NOT show panty lines. Other designers often switch up their fabrics instead of always using the same one.
Hi Am12:
I am so sorry that you have found my necklines to be too low! I always try to do them to the perfect point so that they are flattering without being inappropriate! The fabric I use, butter jersey is of the highest quality and I get so many fan letters about it. However, I truly appreciate your feedback and will take it into account when I am designing.

I just tried your ultimate maxi dress with the tie front cardi in black…it exceeded my expectations. Thanks for making clothes that look good on real women. This was my first purchase in your line. I have a request for that dress or tops like that with either elbow length sleeves or short sleeves. I love all the new sleeveless versions you have for summer, but I am not yet ready to bear my arms. Any chance of seeing that dress with some sleeves for summer or fall?
Hi Mjmom:
Thanks so much for your nice note! Yes, I am doing a version of that dress with a flutter sleeve for May or July (can’t remember which month it ended up in) and longer 3/4 length sleeves for September so be sure to stay tuned…

Great. When is the next time you are scheduled to be on air? Do you have any shows in April?
Hi Liz,
I looove your ultimate long max dress and I own five of them. You are like the “Queen” of getting the fit and look right, so I have a proposal for you. I have a jean jacket that is 10 years old and no matter how much weight I gain 10lbs or 20lbs,I still look so thin and get so many compliments form women and even younger girls. It is like the perfect jacket worn casual or formal. The only problem is that I can not find another jacket that will come even close to the fit. Could you PLEASE remake it?
Hi Amina123:
Thanks so much for your nice note! How would I remake your denim jacket? You’d have to send me photos or something…

Hi Liz,
I could send you a picture or the jacket. How could I get that to you?
Thank you,
Liz,
Please bring more of the brown print short maxi dress.(size Large) I would also love to see the ultimate long maxi with the coconut ring, and more prints in this dress too! I had to go to church and everything sold out! Please come back soon or restock soon!
Hi cfer:
I always feel badly that our dresses sell out so quickly but put yourself on the waitlist as items do come back in stock. I will be on air again on April 25th with more of this style in different prints/colors.

Hi Liz! Loved your shows today. I was just wondering if you were thinking of making a slim cut jean skirts with no waistband that hits just around the knee (maybe a slight fray at the bottom). Thinner material would be great with light and dark denim. Possibly some of them made with some cute little flowers on the front. I thought you might be a great designer to make this because you are so great at making pieces that stretch and hide our little flaws:)
Hi RedRose2012:
Thanks so much for watching my shows and for taking the time to write! That is a very cute idea. I can tell you that in September I am bringing in a very cool light weight stretchy denim jean that sounds a bit like the style of skirt you are describing but without flowers. Let me see if I can do a skirt like the one you described.
