How To Style A Bar Cart For Your Holiday Party

One of my absolute favorite parts about prepping for a party is styling the BAR CART! I love decorating the iconic bar on wheels and it always ends up being the most popular spot at the party (hmm I wonder why…) I was so happy to have this bar cart just in time for the holidays, the style is so elegant with the gold trim and the mirrored trays, everything just looks stunning on it.

When it comes to styling the cart, there are a few essentials I think that every bar cart should have. In order of importance, first is obviously the wine/beer/sprits. This should be on the top shelf and I like to see it lined up in rows. Next is an ice bucket, this gold one is a show stopper, it looks so pretty on the mirrored glass. I like to have a few seasonal seasonal mixers and for this bar cart, I mixed a cranberry and pomegranate juice and put a few fresh cranberries out in this pretty bowl for garnish. Finish off the bar with a stack of pretty cocktail napkins, coasters and your favorite glassware.

On the remaining shelves you can have fun, I decorated them with some bottles of Pellegrino, a clear bowl with seasonal pomegranates, a couple different varieties of drinkware, and some fresh greens used as garland.

The bar cart is such a fun (and in my opinion, essential) element to any gathering. People love seeing their drink options displayed so pretty, it makes sipping whichever cocktail you choose to serve more fun, wouldn’t you agree?
