Just as the entertainment industry has their award season (the Oscars, Grammy’s, etc…) so do the various retail and merchandising organizations.
The 2013 “award” season has been a particularly busy time for Serious Skincare in that we’ve been honored with recognition from both our partner HSN and the beauty industry as a whole. Earlier this month, Serious Skincare’s Microcurrent EGG was awarded the BEST PRODUCT at the annual HSN Partner Gala. We accepted the award at the annual event that honored other notable HSN Partners like Joy Mangano, Tony Little, Heidi Daus and Diane Gilman. As usual, Serious Skincare is always in the BEST of company!
In addition, the Serious Skincare EGG has been honored by the CEW – Cosmetic Executive Women organization – as the EGG is considered for nomination for the 2013 CEW Beauty Awards. We were in New York on March 6 to present the EGG to the nominating body and we received a great deal of attention. The CEW Awards will be announced in late May, and we will let you know how the EGG does in the highly competitive and prestigious arena. Either way, it’s an honor just to be nominated! On that same trip to New York, I had the pleasure of meeting with several beauty editors from the top beauty, health and fashion magazines. Their enthusiasm regarding Serious Skincare was electric.
After 18 years on HSN it is so terrific to see Serious Skincare get the acknowledgement of the entire beauty industry. It’s really no surprise to me, as I have been a believer and advocate of Serious Skincare since the brand first appeared on HSN and since joining the company in 1996. For many of you reading this entry – the industry is just discovering what you have known for some time – for common sense, targeted, problem solution skincare – Serious Skincare is the clear “winner”.
For many new to the line, I am sure you too will discover exactly what the industry is learning today. Whatever skin you’re in, Serious Skincare is for you!

I know you get requests for “past” products often — so here goes another! A-FACIAL!!! It’s been quite a few years since I’ve been able to get and I STILL think about it. So unique, and it made my skin feel like silk! My daughter asks if I have any when she comes home from college, not realizing that I can’t purchase it anymore. I realize that you’ve updated your “A” line and I don’t know why you dropped A Facial…but please consider bringing it back??

Thank you for your post. While the product you mentioned is no longer available, you might try the Skin Detailer in the A line, for a very effective peel.

I can’t say enough good things about SSC. I have had issues with large pores/oily skin for years. As I am aging the pores were getting larger. I decided to give SSC a good solid try and the results were wonderful. I decided I was going to use only SSC for at least 2 – 3 months and again the results for me were great! My pores are much smaller. Many of my relatives and friends have ask me what skincare line I am using. Now they are all SSC fans. At 51 I have an issue with my neck “sagging” “in the family genes” skin and a few “tree rings”. I need something to help me with this issue. I use the A-line which I never want to be without and the Glycolic a couple of times a week. If my face seems dull I will add the C-line to my A-line. I take skincare to heart so if any one is on the fence about SSC my suggestion would be give it a true solid try for a few months and I believe you will be very happy with the results. No skincare line works overnight but if you use this daily 2 x a day in my opinion you will have great results. Never go to bed without washing your face good. A-line at night is wonderful and 2 twice a week the Glycolic line at night. Day-time I use the A-line am with the sunblock. I will have to try the new pm A-line. I think my next purchase will be the Microcurrent Egg to help firm and lift my skin. I thank the entire SSC team for putting so much time/thought in the the SSC line. I am on auto ship with the A-line, C-line and Glycolic. Need to add the lift and firm line. People are always telling me they cannot believe I am 51. Most guess me about 7 – 10 years younger and for that I am greatful.

Thank you for your wonderful post, describing your skincare routine. We really appreciate the fact that you have shared the SSC brand with your friends and relatives too. We might suggest that for the sagging neck issue you try Reverse Lift Correc-Chin. The item number for single ship is 175-941.
I want to know if the Eyetality night cream can be used on the eyebrows for growth also. I know it promotes growth in the lashes but what about the brows?

Yes, you may apply the Eyetality Night Cream to your eyebrows, to thicken them as well. Thank you for your post.
I love the liquid makeup that adjusts to my skin color. I do mix a tad of the firm a face with it and my face looks younger by doing this. I also use the reverse lift products. I also like using argon oil. will SSC be coming out with an argon oil product ?I was also wondering how Liza Stock has been doing ? Will she ever be back to HSN ? Thanks

I have purchased all the new products this visit to add to my enormous amount of SSC. I would love to see the return of the tinted moisturizer you had for many years. I cannot find one that is as good as SSC was……….
Love the C….A….Glycolic lines. Cannot wait for the new eye cream and want you to know how important it is to have a company treat us all like family and offer the best products at VERY affordable prices. Please continue to afford all those who want to feel good about themselves to be able to do so…….VERY appreciated

I have been a Serious Skincare user for 17 years and am thrilled without EVERYTHING!!! I realize the products have become more specific according to what out skin needs. Years and years ago, you offered a “kit n kaboodle” set and over 50,000 were sold as a Today’s Special. I would love to see that again so we can try the other new products to see what we would like to add to our regimen. For example, the Super Mel, replicate and renew, pure pep, etc. I know you guys do a beauty book every year with full sizes, but I’m talking about deluxe size samples at a reasonable price. I really feel that ALOT of the customers would respond extremely well to this as the beauty book is more expensive. Please talk to Jen about bring it back. You guys are awesome and have changed my skin forever. Love you guys!

I am a huge believer in Vitamin A. I love that SSC increased your formulation with more IU’s . I also use some of the Reverse Lift products and the eye cream is wonderful. I’ve tried other products and always come back to SSC…in my opinion the best. I do wish that you had a line for those of us who would like the more natural/organic wayto go. Keep up the good work !
