Jewelry Treasures
I loved presenting the September collection to all of my amazing HSN girlfriends…I can’t thank you enough for your unending support. When you write and tell me how much you love certain pieces, it makes me sparkle with pride and enthusiasm.
I truly adored our theme for September’s Rarities – it is all about beautiful gold and soft colors of chalcedony, corals, citrines, topaz and prasiolite. But, like any designer, I like to shake it up and introduce you to a whole new style every month. I am living to share October’s Rarities with you! I am going to introduce you to a very new and totally inspiring collection of black rhodium accented gold and sterling. What I truly love about all of these pieces is that they are so incredibly unique. Close your eyes and think about big cuffs of moonstone; medium cuffs of smoky emerald cut quartz; and a new collection of rainbow themed colorful sapphires. And that is just a snippet of what I have for you…
October’s Rarities are my most favorite because so many of the pieces come straight from my personal collection. As you may know, I am an avid jewelry collector (I shop flea markets, private sales, garage sales and little boutiques all over the world) to find rare antique or one-of-a-kind pieces. Many of these inspire me to create new versions of these fabulous finds for you. The beauty of this is that I know that you will not find anything like these pieces anywhere in the world.
My favorite place to jewelry shop is in Palm Beach, FL. Stuart, Noah, Grant and I spend a lot of time there and I have found all these cute little shops where people consign the jewelry they no longer wear. I have found the very best charm bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. The Deco pieces are my most favorite as are the older pieces featuring rose cut diamonds. The owners of these boutiques know my taste and call me as soon as they get in unusual pieces. Well, I must tell you, that when I get these kind of calls, I always just say “send it”! I can always send it back, but I never do. I also love shopping from estate dealers in Manhattan. The public can’t get up to them because they only sell to the jewelry trade. But I sit in their offices and go through garbage pail size bins of jewelry – it is like a treasure hunt. When I find things I love, it is so rewarding. Sometimes I find things that I could never afford, but I just like to look at the quality of the craftsmanship: study the selection of gems and marvel at the beauty of the jewel. I encourage you to do the same with Rarities!

I’m new to your line of jewelry and I really enjoy watching your presentation but I for the first time have ordered from you your collection which is the pink opal necklace with the almost 2 carat set diamonds and had to send it back because the pink opal was spotted with black dots and scratched on some of the opals. Its a very expensive piece and so disapointed in the quality that you always talk about. So I sent it back for a new one in return. Hope this one will be better.
Hi Carol, love your jewels. However I ordered the 21.70 Prasiolite & Rose Amethyst Earrings and love them but had to return them because the earwire was defective. HSN (great service) sent out another and my new set earwires are bent. Now they are on waitlist only and I can’t get them and I really love them. I know you will remedy the situation because of the quality you believe in. Please advise what to do next. Thanks, Joyce.
Ok. Loving your jewelry. Just loving it. Can’t wait to see all your new stuff on November 14th. Would love to see some thin pave diamond bangles though. I love the looks of them. And I think with your use of colored diamonds, you would make them a hit like all of your other pieces. Keep the masterpieces coming!
Carol, I’ve been a collector of amazing jewelry for years. Thankyou for bringing such collector pieces to HSN. I’ve seen in many high fashion magazines designer stack rings with outrageous prices, what a treat to come across the Amethyst/onyx and Citrine stack rings. I have the Amethyst on waitlist for the Citrine and hope you will bring us Smoky Quartz and perhaps prasolite as options for stacking. I look forward to adding to my Rairities collection..

Carol please bring the chandelier earring in sapphire and emaerald. I have those earring in turquoise and ruby that I purchase long befor i saw ur line on HSN. I been searching for one in sapphire all over but cannot find any. I have a sappire necklace and I would love to have the chandelier sapphire earring to go with it. Please bring it to hsn and i will be first in line.

Unfortunately I have had to send back 2 pendants due to bail size. The Amethyst rosebud pendant I was so looking forward to wearing with my pearls but the bail was damaged when I received it and it was very lightweight for the size of the gemstone. Thanks so much for all of the exquisite treasures you bring to us. I have puchased over 20. I have the beautiful blue chalcednony and wavy gold necklace and would love some matching earrings in the same color and shape to wear with it. Carol I have three of your rings, and love them all. I got the amethyst and black onyx ring but missed out on the citrine one like it. Please please bring it back so I may stack them as you have suggested. It is my favorite ring of the three I have from you, which include the ruby and onyx ring as well as the white agate and turquoise ring. Also consider making a duplicate of the citrine and amethyst ring with a slender white agate band in all gemstones, peridot, turquoise etc. Thanks

Hi Carol, love your line, your designs are so unique and perfect to create your own signature style with as you say. I love to combine pieces as well and don’t care much for the matchy, matchy look. Being a March baby myself I just love Aquamarine and wondered if there is any possibility of designs using milky Aqua? Today I purchased the onyx and turquoise ring and I can’t wait to receive it! Since you say you make it a point of reading all your e-mails, I hope that you will read this one. After watching the show today and seeing you as well as the models wearing the moonstone cuff and showing it off for almost 45 minutes, I waited and waited and waited to see the item # or any information. Well, just a little after 3pm, GUESS WHAT, it was sold out. How disappointing that was. It was virtually impossible to reach anyone on HSN CS to order.
