Jewelry Junkies Unite: Rarities is Turning Three!
Tune in to HSN on June 14th for my Today’s Special! I’ll be on air from midnight to 2 a.m.; from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.; from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.! I’ll also be on HSN on June 17th from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The past three years have been the most rewarding and brilliant years of my career! From diamond tattoos to deco designs; sparkling Hamsas and evil eyes; carved Buddhas and bejeweled skulls; over the top cocktail rings, glistening pendants, wonder woman cuffs, chic earrings, bangles and Swiss-made watches; the road from Harry Winston to HSN has been paved in diamonds.
It is surreal to imagine that Rarities is turning three! To celebrate this bejeweled milestone, I am introducing a new hue of one of my summer favorites. It took almost three years to develop, and on June 14th I will reveal the newest Rarity. My Today’s Special is a meaningful design inspired by my favorite celebratory rose.
I will also launch my anniversary collection which is exceptional, empowering and truly exotic. HSN and I scoured the globe to bring exclusive exotic gems to you at truly exceptional values. Some of these include white and fancy colored diamonds and zircon, London Blue Topaz, the prettiest pink tourmaline, rich red rubies, pure peach morganite, beryl, Crown Spring and Mohave Turquoise, and my first-ever collection of 14k gold Rarities.
As I look back on the past 36 months, it has become apparent that both Rarities and I have evolved. I remember the beginning at HSN. My dream was to educate and empower women with innovative design, rare gems and exceptional quality and craftsmanship. I believe jewelry speaks volumes and knowledge is power! My desire to be your electronic Main Street jeweler has become a reality thanks to HSN, HSN.com, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and my blog. I love being on-air. I picture myself in your living room, hanging out with a glass of bubbly and playing with each new jewel. You have welcomed me in to your lives with such grace and in return you forever have my gratitude.
I realize more and more each day that my Rarities: Fine Jewelry girls are one amazing community of ‘Jewelry Junkies’ and that we all share the desire to own the most unique and rare gems. So, let’s raise a glass to our jewelry community and toast to three years of friendship, empowerment, love and Rarities! Please join the celebration on June 14th and June 17th.

Carol, I had ordered your gorgeous Peach Moonstone Necklace, Item No. 164-169, recently, but then I cancelled my order so that I could re-order it using a Coupon that I forgot I had, but when I tried to re-order it, it was all sold out. I didn’t know that it would have been sold out that quick. I was so disappointed to find out it was sold out. Would you have any more of this material left so that you could possibly be able to have more of these Necklaces back in stock? Please advise me. Carol
Hi Carol, My first jewelry item that I had purchased from you was your Blue Howlite 3-Strand Bead Necklace in 2011. I really love the design and the beautiful Turquoise color. I recently bought your Citrine Nugget Necklace, 36″ L. It is so pretty with the yellow transparent nuggets. They look so much like lemon drops candy. I also like the length so that I can wear it with many different necklines. It really complements and completes my whole outfit so well. (To be con’t.)
So glad you’re almost ok! Passed time til your 1st show-got the jade Buddha before he sells out- wanted a special one for ages. The buddha is such a great piece… but there are more and they are all as beautiful and significant. I think I read that it’s the decision of HSN to bring something back. Hopefully, they’ll bring back the fluorite necklace. I was ordering online and it sold out while I was ordering. Ack!

Carol, just received the labradorite ring (item 190977)and labradorite earrings(item 146076). Together, they make the most dramatic, elegant, rich look! The length of the earring drop is just perfection…they really flatter the face! So many colors gleam forth out of the labradorite, and they go with everything in my closet. The pieces really attract attention, and I see people (including men) just staring at the earrings. I love the pearls and blue diamonds on the earrings…a nice touch!

I have purchased three of your black rhodium sterling silver white Topaz necklaces. a link in the chain broke on the first and second purchases. Currently I am handling my third with great care. I have tried to find a jeweler who would solder the broken links but they all say they can’t solder to the black rhodium plating. Do you have a suggestions. I just love the necklace and am so sad this has happened twice.
Hi Carol-I just received the champagne button earrings from ur last visit. 5 stars!!!!!!!!! AMAZING. The system wont let me write a review yet but I had to do something. LOVE LOVE LOVE. i would love a teeny tiny hoop, single line of inside out diamonds, that is so small it just clears your ear lobe. saw a pair near Soho for $900 in 14k rose gold. they were perfect for everyday, teeny tiny, thin hoop. amazing diamonds. u can do better that these guys!

I always get into trouble when you and Jay King are on!! Love your pieces. Just got 3 rings and bracelet and earrings the last show. Are you going to bring in more of the black spinel hoop earrings? They are sold out currently. I think the edgy look of the black spinel balances the bling of other gemstones so well. I’d love to see more black spinel accenting your bolder gemstone pieces. On 5/30/12 I was one of a few lucky women to purchase your 55ct London Blue Topaz Ring. THIS IS ABSOLUTEL MY DREAM RING EVER! I couldn’t believe my eyes when it was presented. Unfortunately I received my ring with a “crooked” setting. I immediately sent to HSN protection Plus for service and it was returned to me in the same condition. I can’t return this ring because I love it too much. How can I get this one-of-a-kind ring properly set? PLEASE HELP ME CAROL! Thank you.
The setting on all of these rings appear to be slightly crooked. They are actually designed to show off the center gemstone and are not meant to be “perfect”. We love the slightly unique and organic setting, but I understand if for some reason it does not appeal to you. You may have to decide if you can live with or without this stunner. Hi Carol, I really appreciate your comments and I’ve decided to keep my ring. I took it to a jeweler requesting an adjustment and he told me it was designed that way. I’m satisfied and so, so happy I keep it. I have a 55ct London Blue Topaz ring!! Whoo Hoo!!. I also purchased your Moonstone/Blue Topaz Earrings and they just look Fab together. Hello Carol I know you are very busy and have a lot going on but I wanted to take the time to tell you how I enjoyed watching your show for the first time and the product that I wanted to get for a special some one for there wedding band (3.5ct Morganite Rose Vermeil Cigar Band Ring)sold out right when I was ordering. I’m devastated! As I was walking to work this a.m. on Wall St. my FAVORITE round carved green jade Rarities earring fell out of my ear and smashed to bits on the pavement! I went online on HSN to see if you still carry them but you don’t :-( Is there any way to all to repair or replace this earring. It is truly one of my favorite possessions – along with my other Rarities of course. Thank you so much!

ugh…. I am so sorry!! I think you are referring to an earring that I sold several years ago. I believe it was a two stone drop, but I am not quite sure. If you live in NY, then I suggest that you take the earring to a jewelry repair shop — hopefully they can source you a new piece of jade. If for some reason they can’t, have them take the back off the other earring and put on an enhancer. I know it is not the same, but at least you can wear it as a pendant. xoxo

Hi Carol – Im a Rarities Girlfriend..enjoying several pieces..especially the aquas..I need some help with my FAVORITE piece..the art deco ring..blue and champagne..seems I’m missing a stone after lovingly wearing my ring for the last year.. unfortunately did not purchase service contract option at time of purchase with HSN.. but I just have to get this repaired as it is distracting to wear now with the missing stone ..can you advise me about repair of this valued piece? :) :( xoxo Barbara
Carol, I don’t know how you did it! I was exhausted at 2am when I went to bed. It was everything I could do to get up to go to work. You looked just as georgeous this morning at 8 as you did at 2 and I know you had to spend time getting ready for the show. I picked up several pieces during the 12-2 show and can’t wait to get them. Thanks so much… I know it seems crazy, but the adrenaline keeps kicking in for about 24 hours on TS days. After that, the body just collapses. You should have seen me the next day.
