Hi Jay, My name is Ron and I also was wondering when you might get that Lapis (turquiose) bowl available, cuz it seems I always miss out when you offer them. Thanks
jay, i keep missing you turk and lapis bowls also, but i did see they are priced at $399.00. that is way out of my price range although they are probably worth it. is it possible to use another substance (wood, pottery or plastic) as the base and line the bowl with the gem materials? just a suggestion. thanks in advance. beth
Hi Jay! I am a collector of your jewelry (have over 40 pieces (mostly necklaces) and I would like to add a sculptured bowl to my home decor. Unfortunately, I have missed out on your bowls everytime you have brought them to HSN. When will more bowls be available and how do I hear about their availability? Many thanks!

Hi Jay! One more collector of your jewelry, but unfortunately can not time it when the either the turqouise or lapis bowl are available. how can I find our or hear about the availability? Thank you, thank you!
Hi Jay: Love your jewelry! Would you please make an 8 mm bead turquoise necklace that is 16″. Not graduated but all 8 mm beads to look like a true classic pearl necklace. I wear so many blouses at work that the 18″ necklace is not as visable. A true 16″ necklace would become a true classic that could be worn year round and allow turquoise lovers to wear as a strand of pearls. Thanks and keep the great designs coming.
Thats a good idea and I will consider it. I do the 18″ as a standard usually with the 2 3/4 extender. So I could do the same in 16 inch. It will have to be next year now, I’ve already written all of 2010. Thanks for the input J
Jay, I wrote a message several months ago. I was really looking for my dream necklace of amber. You know, the 2″ by 3″ pendant with huge beads. Please Please let me know when your next appearance on HSN will be. SO Excited!!! Thank You So Much!!
Hi I’m traveling now but I’ve designed several amber pieces like you are describing. We have a amber TS coming at the end of the year so I’ve submited designs for Febuary of 2010. My Anniversary show is coming up October 13 thru 16th I don’t have the times yet. Best J
Dear Jay: The clasp on my favorite necklace is broken. Please tell me how to get it fixed. Is there a special place where I can send it. If so please give address. Thanks Nancy
Just go to HSN Customer service enter keyword Jay King. This will give you an address to reach us with your personal info and I’ll fix it for you. I’d love to know where you got your address from. I love stories. Best J
Hi Jay,
I had no idea you lived in NM. I just read that on your blog. I love your jewelry and the amazing stories behind the materials you search the world for. I have several of your pieces and love them all. I have a question about a chrysocolla ring I bought on your last visit. The one I received is about 2/3 solid blue and 1/3 solid green. It is beautiful and unusual but not sure if I should return it to try to get one that is more mixed in color. Thanks! Susan in Albuq, NM
Hi I do live in two main places New Mexico and Florida. I love them both. Without seeing the ring it’s hard to say. I will tell you its some of the finest Chrysacola I’ve ever gotten. It’s from Peru. Best J
Hi Jay and crew. I am an avid J. King collector. I have both bowls and in the past two yrs have purchased your creations from everywhere it is possible.. I tend to buy your designer/gallery pieces and needless to say,I am in need of an elegant yet simple cuff/bracelt and earings that would match your malachite necklace that sold for close to $500.00.. I mean what is a woman to do without those finishing pieces for such a precious work of art.. You are indeed the absolute gem of all gems..
Your necklace is very special. Brian made all of those and did a fabulous job. We will be featuring more limited edition pieces at a higher price points on dot.com. We don’t have a definate date yet but I’m working on more designs now. Best J
Hi Jay:
Very new to your blogs – can you give me an update on the Red Forest Agate necklace – will it become available again?
Also-would like to inquire about the boulder turquoise project from the Kingman Mine – I purchased & love the necklace – can you please explain the compression process of the “raw” material?
Turquoise is my passion as a collector – I’ve had a hard time with this “stablized” process too? Call me a purist at heart – I just love my 30 year old acquistions!!! Thanks
Hi don’t have anymore big supply of thr Red Forest agate, but I’m sure I can get more sooner or later. The term compressed in what we do is a very special process most don’t do. In this case Marty took Kingman material which were nuggets and veins and compressed them together. Making it possible to cut such a huge design and still keep it reasonable. Even the Egyptians stabalized their turquoise. They used hot bees wax to keep it the original color. I do some natural also. Best J
Hello Jay, I just looked to see if anything was new in Mine Finds and IT was the 1st thing I saw your GORGGGGGGEOUS lapis bowl and of course I ordered it. I love jewelry and I am a good customer of your items, love all the natural stones and the great way you have the vision to but all of it together and make it work. I like the big and the bold pieces hence the name (Bigrockmama) and would love to see more of your items that make dramatic statements of art when we wear them. Have a safe trip!!!
Thanks I’m on my trip now glad you got one of the lapis bowls. I’m having trouble getting more rough now. I’ve been designing up a storm so keep watching Best J
Dear Jay, I just purchased the JK Heart Mosiac Necklace and the matching bracelet. I REALLY need a pair of matching earrings! Could you do mosiac hearts? clip or pierced would be great or even a dangling heart in the mosiac style- if it would be heavy, a clip would be best. Or maybe you can suggest a good coordinating pair of earrings? I looked at the selection and nothing seemed to work. Thank you so much for your beautiful jewelry. Gail
Thanks for your support. I will be doing earring designs in hearts. This is something I’ve just designed in many colors. I’m not sure which material your necklace is made of. Best J
Jay, I love your jewelry, your mining adventure, everything. I even went to Morefield Mine in Amelia County, Va. last Oct and found amazonite, amethyst, smoky quartz and had a blast. Geologist were there having hit a vein of citrine. BUT I love moonstone. It reminds me of the glaciers of Alaska with the amazing blue coming through. I don’t like a lot of other stones around it, just the beauty of the moonstone. Please find it in your heart to do a collection. Thank you. You are so enjoyable.
Thanks I was just up in the same area a few weeks ago. It’s fun to find things for yourself. I love that part of the world. Hope you find more new things. I’m always looking for new materials to work with. Best J
