Greetings from the Colorado Rockies!
I’ve been spending the past few days enjoying a little spring skiing in glorious Aspen! The weather has been amazing and it’s really true – when you’re on top of these cathedral mountains you really feel like you can touch the sun!
Everything about the serene beauty of Colorado makes me feel blessed and happy to be alive!

As I type you this blog….I’m reminded that it was one year ago in March that I discovered the most amazing necklace in a small boutique right here in Colorado. Yes, along with the great skiing – I always manage to find time for shopping (I tell my husband I’m doing market research!). I’m always drawn toward handmade, artful design….and when I discovered a unique, handmade necklace last year, it was love at first sight! I coudn’t wait to show the original necklace to my friends at Himalayan Gems – if anyone could make this beautiful piece for HSN, I knew the women of Nepal would be the ones to ask!
Here we are, almost one year later, about to launch this lovely hand made treasure as a Today’s Special! Not only did we change the design, but everything about Our necklace is even more beautiful than the original! It was a true labor of love and I will be forever grateful to the wonderful women of Nepal who dedicated over 11 months of their time and skill to create these wearable works of art for us!

You also asked about the colorblock tops – and you’re correct – the tops did not make it for the show. To be honest, the tops did arrive, but the quality was not to the standards of the original tops. I was very disappointed and will not be working with this manufacturer again! I am planning on bringing it back later in the season (from a new fabulous manufacturer!).

Hello, Colleen from California! Loved the Twiggy TSV Union Jack tote-great colors-bought the navy but hope the totes return so I can also buy the hot pink. Couldn’t afford both on my budget and it was a tough choice to make because both colors are so great!

Colleen – I LOVE my scarf necklace. It is so comfortable & I loved having it on my neck. 2 hours into my first time wearing it BROKE! My heart dropped in little pieces onto the floor along with the beads. All the perfect beading, beautiful glass beads, artistry & care that was put into these, all for naught. What a waste of talent & beauty. Please offer these again with better threading. I am so disappointed for me & for the ladies that created these to have their beautiful work go to waste.
I am always looking for something different (as well as large!) Your collection fits the bill to a tea! Thanks to your collection I was able to acquire one of my favorite Drusy pieces. Do you think you could bring in some ammolite?? I know it is hard to come by but it is beautiful! How about some larimar?? BTW: I love your hair short and long! I wish I could wear mine any way!

I notice that HSN has a number of necklaces lately with the mosaic abalone beads, (Jay King, Sajeen Silver) and Chi by Falchi has a couple of rings with mosiac mother of pearl and gemstones.
I would love to see a domed ring in mother of pearl white or gray, with no gemstones, I would buy it in a minute.

my question is, is joy mangano ever going to come back with the clothes dryer again. i had
one for quite a while and i used it all the time and it was wonderful!!! i guess i used it

Thanks to the gal who wrote in and said you said it would be on MFT–I am hoping you will write on your blog about those darling Aura shoes from American Glamour Badgley Mischka. They were featured in the fashion catalog but not available during their shows. I check every day for those. The pink version looks like they would go well with that floral top of yours! Please bring back your anniversary dress but this time with a DIFFERENT NECKLINE, either scoop neck or same style as original EXCEPT not so low cut. A lot of your necklines show lots of cleavage and some of us don’t want to always be showing it. Black is truly the most universal color so when you redo, make more in this color so you don’t sell out before everyone can order.
Please bring back the watch boxes. Formally, HSN carried two different syles. I loved both as I used them for many items. The one with narrow slots was great for watches, bracelets and small necklaces. The one with the wide slots was perfect for many of my Jay King pieces. I like the watch box best because each necklace had it own slot and didn’t touch any of the others. When you invest several hundred dollars in a really nice piece of jewelry, you want to take the best care possible.

Colleen, I love your Prestige jewelry boxes. However can one be made for pearls to lay them flat,with a compartment for matching earrings and perhaps rings? Having all those little silk bags are a hassel to find what you want. I have done a lot of research and it appears the anti tarnish doesn’t hurt natural pearls? So many are with silver and would keep them clean. Pearls, being so fashionable ,I know there are a lot of woman who would welcome this type of box. Thank you

I love the Prestige jewelry boxes, but haven’t seen the multi compartment style that you used to offer. I hope it hasn’t been discontinued as I would like another one for myself and some for my sisters. They are both jealous everytime they see the two I have. I have a lot of earrings and pendants, and the smaller compartments keep them separate from the necklaces and bracelets. I’m so organized it hurts! Thanks again for the useful storage.

I have a couple of marcasite pieces (cross w/garnet and swirl bracelet w/garnet) and would very much like to see a pair of marcasite stud earrings w/garnet. Do you think this is possible.

Hi Coleen I just (3/25 at 11 pm) bought 377278 and the matching necklace. You twisted the multistrands of turquoise to wear the necklace short around the neck but you need a clasp. Many years ago, we could buy a 1 inch oval clasp that would hold the loops of the necklace together and allow the necklace to be worn this way. Are these clasps available?
Hi Colleen. On March 25, during an on air presentation of jewelry you were wearing (as usual) a beautiful top. On my screen it appeared to be a pink or lavendar and white, off the shoulder top with long ruffled sleeves. It’s to die for, honestly I hope you can tell me this will be one of your items in an upcoming show in your collection of My Favorite Things. When is the next showing of your line of clothing? Been collecting since you started your line!!

I brought the trouser jeans for myself and my girls. One is a size 4, the other is a size 12, and I am a true 18. I also brought two pairs of the 5 pocket boot cut. I ordered the black date dress and I thought it would run small and ordered a size 20 and of course it was too big. I sent it back and discovered that it is sold out. Please bring back the dress I am going to China in September and I would love to have it. I love everything you bring.

I have the bangle box, and the two sided box but I have been looking for the multi sectioned boxes. They hold a multitude of different assorted items and I NEED IT!!!
