Heidi Daus at the Beach: Surf, Sand and Jewelry
1. Towels, check.
2. Umbrella, check.
And now the dogs are in the car and the cooler is packed, so you know I could only be headed to one place… the beach!
My boys and I so look forward to August when we can get away from it all, and recharge before that mad back-to-school rush. My two older boys return to college, and my Shane will be entering the first grade, so we all look forward to this much-needed break.
While August is a getaway month for me, the truth is, I can never get away from jewelry! The sand and surf may have the power to transport me, but it’s always right to the design table! All beauty translates into jewelry for me. Looking at the inside of a shell has me dreaming up a mother-of-pearl necklace with hints of subtle iridescence that compliment a sun-tanned complexion and summer attire so perfectly.
When my little Shane and I go picking seashells in the glittering surf you know what I’m thinking of? Of course, you do! A scallop shell bedazzled in rose-colored crystals, or a grand starfish in sand opal suspended by multiple strands of beads in various shapes and sizes. WOW!
Call me a hopeless romantic, a die-hard girly-girl and I’ll simply agree! Thank goodness for all of you Heidi Girls out there who understand my predicament. We are in this together, right? My August obsessions generally mean that my September show on HSN promises to be killer! I am breaking out with new designs that speak of the end of summer, crisp fall days and romantic nights. Stay tuned!

Love love love all your jewlery… I have several of your rings and I always get so many compliments on them. PLEASE we ladies with bigger wrists need bigger bracelets and watches. I bought several in Large from HSN but they are usually tight so I return them back. Yes, Ms. Heidi offered earrings for this set. They are the most beautiful of all the pieces for the set. Maybe you can pick up a pair by checking clearance on HSN. (They were recently offered as a clearance item). Good luck – they are gorgeous!!
I am waiting for the smaller earrings that were offerred along with a necklace. They only came in Rose Quartz, amethyst, bright green, and I think a blue color. They were a very simple peirced earring and it is not very large. For me they are perfect. When u had a special value, they came as a set with a beaded necklace.I would like to see them in Black Onex also. Heidi, LOVE LOVE your jewelry ! I fell in love with the fish pin. I am a Pisces and collect all critter jewelry especially fish pieces. Will there be more pieces to the fish line ? Your last show was fabulous , nearly broke me . I am waiting anxiously for the September 9-12 show. One request , I will like to see a little longer necklaces , 18-20 inches. I hate to have to use

I have purchased MANY of your pieces and love them all!I especially love the Daily Double Bangles, earrings and necklaces, however I have been trolling the site DAILY in hopes of finding more of the Crystal Necklace Clasps. They sold out WAY too quickly, so obviously there were not enough of them to go around. I ordered by phone as soon as I saw them and was on hold so long that the only one I was able to get was the cyclamin color. I REALLY need the turq. color and a gold color.
I also have been hoping to see a return of the Cushion Cut Crystal Beaded Daily Double Necklace in the Chanpagne color, because they also sold out too quickly. The color goes with eveything.
Also, do you ever do pierced earrings? I don’t think I even know anyone who prefers clips anymore.
I would also like to see a return of the Daily Double necklace . I purchased all the other pieces but somehow missed the necklace.

@longisland, my pieces are meant to be mixed and matched and I often encourage breaking up a set to swap out for something just as complimentary. The Heartfelt Desire collection was originally designed in Montana and Black Diamond Crystals – but there is a new color scheme I dreamed up in green blue and yellow – so I am not sure which one you have! Please let us know and we will steer you toward the perfect earrings!
