Happy Holidays to you all – November marks the beginning of the season – it’s my favorite season – it’s that time of the year when we get to throw our diets out the window.
I am excited to spend Thanksgiving weekend with you all. I will be on air just after Turkey day – and boy, oh boy, have we put some fun items together for you. Tune in and start your holiday shopping early.

The look book items are fun and versatile. I have posted a picture of “Three Finger’s Butte”, which is located in Eastern Oregon. This is where “Wildhorse Jasper” is mined. Three Fingers Butte can be seen from over 50 miles away in almost any direction. This jasper has patterns that mimic the vast high desert vistas of the area where it was found. Because of the popularity of stones that resemble landscapes, a “picture jasper” rush started in the area. Dozens of deposits were discovered and claimed. The largest deposit was found in the center of the canyon and called Wildhorse Picture Jasper – it was called Wildhorse after the herd of wild horses that still inhabit and roam this remote canyon. Wild Horse is just one of the stones featured in the multistone necklace that was selected for the “Look Book” for November.

The “Mine Finds” that we are offering in this Holiday show are:
Eagle Eye has come to us from Brazil. Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world. The material was discovered in the rain forest of the Amazon River which occupies all of the north and north central portions of Brazil. The material was named because the miner felt like it was like the eye of the eagle standing out from the dark forest.
Bonito Opalite is from Benito Juarez located in Chihuahua Mexico. The miner grew up in the region as a cowboy. Since his father was a miner – he had grown up looking for treasures on his rides. The miner discovered this unique find while out riding his horse.
Red Forest Agate is mined in Liaoning Province in China, which is located in North Eastern China. Liaoning Province is famous for falling meteorites. The heaviest one fell to earth about 1.9 billion years ago. The material is names Red Forest Agate because of its bright red color and the beautiful pattern that appears in the stone.
I did want to extend a special “Thank you” for the heart felt thank you note to my team and myself thanking us for bringing the Sculptured Bowl to HSN, please help me send good vibes to Darlene in her new home that took 4 years to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina had destroyed it – “Welcome Home” Darlene!
By the time you are reading this I will be on my way over seas on an exploring trip – I can’t wait to share my new stories with you and let you know what amazing finds I have found. I will be out of the country for three weeks, so I will not be able to write any answers to your blog posts until I return.

As usual I spent more than I’d planned with your most recent visit. I’ve been ordering your jewelry for the 14+ yrs you’ve been coming to HSN because I’ve been a collector of gems & rocks since I was 15 & I’m now 50 yrs older than that!!! I was out of town when you were on in Oct with the turquoise bowl – an item I’d been dying to buy! So I’m really looking forward to the next presentation of the bowl even though you’ve said the next one will be smaller. When are you bringing the new version
As always I spent my jewelry budget on Jay King Jewelry… But I am getting very frustrated over one problem…CLIP Earrings I spent $600.00 plus and have to a: buy the pierced and have them made into clips..or b: wear plain silver or c: shop elsewhere….. Please Jay I am sure they would sell try it!!!!

Happy holidays! I think you need to know that I purchased the red coral necklace (forgot the exact name, but it is a beautiful deep red). The first time I wore it it faded all over a brand new white tee that I was wearing. I was really disappointed. I advised HSN, but they really did not even try to be helpful. Just thought you needed to be aware of this. Thank you. I have a number of your pieces and really, for the most part have been quite satisfied.

I was able to order one of your smaller bowls on the 24th. Can’t wait to get it. I would have loved to get another one but I wanted everyone, who has not had the chance, to be able to get at least one. I hope others will share my view. After they have been out awhile, I’ll try and get another one. Hopefully, the lapis one will be out then.

I was quick to grab the second, smaller turquoise bowl this time around in additon to my larger one, but I wonder if the lapis bowls are still on their way?
I’ve lost count on the number of my visitors that just gravitate to the larger one as if it were a magnet…they just cannot keep from touching it. I may have to put them all behind a glass door just as if they were in a museum!

Hi Jay. I missed out on your Large Turquoise necklace, so I will have to get it on waitlist. Please, if you can, make another large turquoise necklace like the other one. It is the $709 one I’m talking about. Also I have your turquoise necklace with the beautiful colors in it including the purple turquoise and coral. Jay,I want the campitos turquoise in a necklace-no silver except the clasp,as little alteration to the natural stones as possible. I tend to like the pieces more natural. I must say the little carved flowers(to your dismay,the rest of us referred to them as pumpkins) were pretty cool. There is another post requesting a clear quartz necklace. I would also like that. Again, a more natural chunky look would be great. I have’t seen that kind of look in a clear quartz on HSN. Happy Holidays to you.
I have been buying your items for all the 14 years! I have one of your large bowls and it’s gorgeous! Need a book of your items, listing what they are with photos; it would be a best seller for sure!! Will be watching on Saturday and want to get more bowls!!
