Fall Transition
Dear Curations Viewers -
I can’t believe that it’s already almost the end of August – the summer has flown by!
The changing of the seasons is always transitional by nature but there is something about the last days of summer going into Fall that makes me want to reinvent myself and my wardrobe. The trends factor in too but don’t ultimately make up my decision of what I want to embody for the season – it’s more about a state of mind and wanting to project a certain feeling!
The key to transitional dressing for any season is accessories – they let you play with different textures, tones, color palettes and trends without committing to a total look. Accessories are especially important going from the steamy summer to the cooler days of Fall because they register the new season while still being temperature-appropriate. Here are my top 4 transitional pieces to get you started on the right foot for Fall!
1. Jewel-toned Statement Jewelry
The statement trend in jewelry is clearly here to stay. Summer was about bold metals and bright colors, but Fall calls for an update. Look for rich, jewel-toned pieces with an antique or vintage feel – they will add depth to your look and start you in the
right direction!
2. Printed Scarves
Scarves are a year-round staple for me and always a focal point of each Curations collection. A lightweight scarf is at home with a tank and jeans as it is with a blazer and sweater – so don’t be afraid to wear them even when its warm out!
3. An “It” Tote
“It” bags are no longer about being the most trendy or in fashion, they are about fitting your lifestyle. Function and fashion are equally important in a bag – a roomy tote with inner pockets keeps your essentials at hand and your daily needs contained.
4. A Fall Sunglass
Protecting your eyes is a year-round job, but Fall calls for a more sophisticated shade of sunglass. Rich tortoise browns, classic blacks, even neutral nudes complement the darker palette of the season and instantly add chic to any look.

The bag Heidi Klum is wearing is definitely Curations! It is the Moc Croc Fall It Bag in black. I saw a whole thing on it on bagsnob.
The Luxe Tall Boot is fabulous! Thanks for the extra calf room! Love the Blouse w/Ruffles in Leopard and the Never Looked So Good Pants. The Leopard scarf in Purple is long and flowy, I can do so much with it! The fingerless gloves and Scarf Sets are also great. The headband is too big for my little head, so I folded it in half and it’s perfect! The Fall 2009 line is your best yet! Thanks Stefani!
The Design Guru bag Heidi is carrying is ‘the real thing’. HSN carries faux leather or PVC bags for Design Guru. They did offer one real leather bag which I purchased, but it does not have the same quality that a bag from their own line has. (I still do like my leather bag from HSN.) You can go to their website to see the bags and the huge difference in price. If you want a good bag but don’t want to spend big bucks, then HSN offers some great options.
I think I saw photos of Heidi Klum carrying the Design Guru for Curations bag. Can someone confirm if that’s true? If so, I want it!!
The foldover boot is a very unique and beautiful boot! Astonishing comfortable! Perfect heel!so so sexy! it is the perfect boot. I had a little inconvenience with mines, with the fortune there was an extra pair left in my size that will be arriving shortly and I wrote a review which was supposed to be a four star review but I submitted it with one star it was a honest mistake. I really wanted to rectify that and I couldn’t; so I’m taking care of that now because they are a great pair of boots.
Please bring more comfort boot wedges in size 7 black and brown & never looked so good pants in black. Love them and they are gone! Help from Maryland!

Hi Miss Stefani – How about a watch that shows the date? It’s hard to get used to a plain faced watch when you have one with a date. Keep the face at 1.5 inches which is not too big, and not too small. Also the interchangable strap idea is awesome!

I ordered many items this last airing Sept.15 & LOVE the Butterfly Wrap and Everything Tunic from your previous airing – VERY CHIC! I can’t wait for the Oct. air. Keep it coming. Hi Stefani, I love your TS watches, but I couldn’t buy them all… I have an great idea for you, what don’t you make them as Interchangale Watches? Make it Gold/Silve two tones and with all the beautiful colorful bands!!! So I don’t need to choose colors all I have to do is to change the bands. As more as I think about it I got so exiciting!! YOU MUST DO IT!!! EVERYONE WILL LOVE THEM ALL!! I do think you are a beautiful woman!! Go woman… Your fan Star.

Hi Stefani, I am loving the Espadrilles, they are so lightweight and comfortable. Please get more of the brown multi everything tunic!!! It is item number 413-568. I’ve been on WL, is was in Process and went back to WL status. The Multi order was cancelled altogether. I received the Black but how much Black can one have? The Brown snd Multi are Fresh and Different. Most of us can wear this year round. Please, Please, Please bring this Tunic back!! Thank you, will be waiting for your next show.
