Color Me Happy
I cannot believe that March is almost over! Where have the faux fur boots gone?? Spring is here and definitely better than ever!!
One of my favorite times of year is the transition from season to season. Nothing is better than putting your boots and coats in the back of the closet and pulling out the linen trousers, printed summer dresses, and sandals. It really is a time for newness and rejuvenation.
Now, being from New York, of course black is my wardrobe staple, but all of the shades of coral, orange, turquoise, bright blues, worn back to crisp white look so fresh and right this year! I am a huge accessory fan, so for me- wearing a gorgeous white dress or white jeans and a light weight sweater with a pop of coral in my scarf or shoe will be my uniform for the season.

I am also a fan of mixing shades of similar colors together for more of a head-to-toe tonal look. Take for instance the gorgeous shades of blue this season. I love mixing turquoise with navy with cobalt and ice blue for a really modern take on color for spring. Maybe throw on turquoise jewelry with your navy suit instead of the usual gold or silver?
Why not try a fabulous fuchsia belt with your hot pink t-shirt? Or layer on those coral cocktail rings with your peach summer sweater?

Take a few of these ideas and incorporate them into your spring style- I would love to hear how it all looks on you!
