Hi Fashion and Jewelry Friends!
Hope this blog finds you happy and well! I know how busy everyone is this time of year….so thanks for taking the time to read my blog – it’s a fun way to stay connected :) One thing we all have in common is our love of shopping! When fall and holidays roll around (can you believe it’s almost November?) shopping for new clothes and accessories becomes even more of an adventure! This time of year, I always look forward to sharing some of my own favorites from my closet (and jewelry boxes!) with you – In fact the My Favorite Things show began as a way for me to offer some of the clothing and jewelry that I’ve worn on the air that you’ve asked about. So this month I’m going to take you inside my closet (and yes – it’s filled with huggable hangers!!) to give you an inside look at some of the new fashion and jewelry we’ll be bringing you on November 5th!
First let’s talk fashion. Starting with….leather! This leather and lace jacquard jacket is the perfect combo of feminine and rock and roll…the perfect way to dress up your favorite jeans and boots – love it!!
Another must have is a pretty new dress! I LOVE dresses and I’m always looking for new, flattering styles. This draped neck, ruched dress comes in 4 beautiful colors….super flattering and the right combination of classy and sexy. It will be a new best friend in your closet!
If ever there’s a time to put on the glitz, it’s now! We all need something with a little extra sparkle this time of year and my new off-the-shoulder top (in black or animal print) is the perfect partner for a pencil skirt, black pants or skinny jeans….gor-geous!

And for the jewelry girls, we have’t forgotten about you! I’ve raided my Prestige jewelry boxes (surprise!) to bring you some fabulous new treasures….

Hey Colleen, can you tell me if there was a color change with Huggable Hangers in the camel color? I just received a new supply and the color CAMEL is darker and I see it is called “RICH CAMEL.” Is this a change? Thanks for your thoughts.

I have started my Fall wardrobe shopping and all my friends and I are all into Shoulder Details. Some have small shoulder pads which makes my waist and hips look tiny. I am a size 6 in Designer and an 8 in Better.
Will ANY of your designers be offering shirts, tops, sweaters etc with a small shoulder pads or shoulder details???
I can’t believe this great trend is being seemingly ignored by HSN.
Not crazy 80’s, but clothes look better with sh. detail.

I’ve been a fan for ages but recently purchased your Prestige boxes and I love them.. Is it possible to do a box for earrings? Maybe a small one that stacks with the set I just bought with small compartments to organize all my earrings. Although I love the looks of the boxes I keep mine in a safe and these smaller boxes fit perfectly. Thanks again.

Please consider doing some twin-set tops and also some matching sweater/skirt sets. You had done some of this type of clothing in the past but not lately and they were so pretty. I still get compliments on the paris twin set.

Hi Catwoman, I agree – Everyone woman needs to find what works best for her :) Most beauty experts will say that dark lipstick is aging for woman over 40 – As a general rule, I have found this to be true. However, if a woman can pull dark red lips – more power to her! I have found my best shade to be a medium coral (love Elizabeth Arden Perfect Coral). It’s fun to experiment with make up…And every woman is different – Celebrate beautiful you!

Hi Colleen! I am emailing you on behalf of a dear friend who does not have a computer. She ordered two of the interlocking bracelets, in silver and gunmetal, item number 151-851. When she got her order, she was sent the interlocking earrings instead. When she called to re-order the bracelets that she originally ordered, the interlocking bracelets were sold out. I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a sideways cross necklace, and I am hoping that HSN would see fit to offer one some day. You know the kind I am talking about where the chain is connected to the top and the bottom of the cross instead of going through a bail at the top of the cross. I have purchased oodles of crosses from HSN over the years, and I would LOVE to have a simple sideways cross in gold or sterling silver. I have the Heidi Daus pearl version – love it! Thanks!

Regarding anti-aging ideas….I’m a work in progress! I’ve been eating healthier and of course I take my Andrew Lessman Vitamins (Favorites include Bone and Body Factors, Memory Brain and LIver Support, Joint Effort and CoQ10).

I had bought a Gorgeous cuff bracelet from Hot in Hollywood–they did Not have the color I wanted–but I ordered Goldtone anyway( it is such a Amazing design ! ) But when I got it –I realized that despite the fact that I LOVE the design–the goldtone Does Not look
good on my skin. I left a message on their Blog–but no New posts.

Colleen, I have been watching you and HSN for about 10 yrs. I think you are looking younger. What are you doing and using on your skin? Also, I heard you say for yrs. that you wore Absolute because you lost your daimonds a lot. I heard you say you did get the yellow canary real diamond and treasure it. I wish you would bring it in a yellow canary ring like yours in absolute. That would be nice. I have real diamonds as you do now but do not own a real caranry real and would like one like yours.
Colleen I loved your show this past weekend and bought several items. I ordered one of your jewelry sets earings, ring and bracelet. It was the pave crystal ring necklace that I did not order. Hi Kaykay! Thanks for your message! I’ve always said I’m a late bloomer! I use a variety of good skin care products….I stay out of the sun, drink lots of water and try to get at least 7 hours of sleep a night. I think these things really help keep my skin in good shape :) I love my wedding ring (a gift from my husband for our 25th wedding anniversary!). I will see about doing something similar in Absolute!
