I absolutely adore your clothing, Diane! I have a pair of your jeggings that I haven’t had for too long, and I was sick when I noticed that there are holes appearing at both knees! Is this normal, or did I get a faulty pair?
diane i have a pair of your leggings that i purchased quite a few years ago, i love them.i was wondering if you plan on bringing them back in bright colors i like the jeans but the last pair i bought was boot cut with the gold trim unfortunate for me they ripped at the waist band and the material ran i couldn’t send them back because the 30 days were up so i don’t know if i want to lose more of my money buying jeans that fell apart on the first time on. but i loved your leggings if you don’t bring them to hsn is there another place i could purchase them?
Hi Diane I need to find a way to fix my jacket I bought from you about 2 years ago. It is the one that is grey with the charms and embrodory on the chest pocket. Some of the charms came off. I really love the jacket and would like to fix the jaciket if I could. I found the charms that came off at the bottom. Please help me!
Dear Diane,
I am a fan of jeans but I would like to see more blue jeans dresses not short but below the knee, I have been searching for a blue jeans dress and have not found any that I like. Can you consider making a blue jean dress that is in fashion for someone that love to wear blue jeans dress but have not seen any lately. Thanks in advance
I thjnk that would be nice. I think some variety would appeal to us all. I personally would like the return of the silk pants that you used to make. I realize the price of silk has gone up, but frankly we don’t all live in jeans and I have enough of your jeans now that I can’t possibly wear them all. I would like to see some variety. A denim jumper would be fun. A boho chic jumper could be a whole new look. Please ……..some new ideas. And maybe some really nice silk camp shirts with very little embellishment. to go under the jumper or with a denim pencil skirt. I feel like you are stuck in a rut. I’m a boomer but I don’t live in denim jeans 24/7.
Diane,
Where are the Trouser Jean and wide leg jeans?? I absolutely love them, boot cut and skinny jeans are to tight in the thigh area on me. I’ve been patiently waiting but have yet to see them back in stock, PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!
I am really wondering if Diane Gilman reads any of this or any of the comments under her jeans section. I doubt it because nothing ever changed. There are 100s of comments telling her how bad the fit of her jeans is for baby boomers. Is she not trying to be designer for baby boomers?
I actually think that she has gotten so busy that she is now employing designers that do the designing for her. She turns out clothes so fast and so many of them on a constant basis, that anyone with intellience knows that she is not the one doing all that work. She trades on the wishes of women in the baby boomer generation that actually do need clothing made for THEM. That is how she started out, but she has left you all – believe me – she is now designing for the group that she thinks will buy her clothes more so than baby boomers. And you can tell that by her fashions, style of fashion and how these jeans fit now. When I purchased her clothes when she first started they fit me well, and they STILL fit me. Proof that her designing and fit has changed, not my body. People get greedy after a while and really forget how they got started and I think she is proof.
Diane several of us at work prefer your straight leg jeans over the boot cut. PLEASE do some plain colored straight legjeans!,,
Hi Diane, please please make the jeans smaller I’m size 2 and now with the new extra strech you put on them THEY DON’T FIT ANYMORE! To big on the legs and waist!!!!! May be you should do size 0 or have them cut smaller because they strech so much. Had to return all the ones I ordered. Love your style so please make them smaller. Have more than 50 of your jeans!
I wish you’d bring back the basic denim bootcut jeggings. Mine are falling off me, because I’ve worn so much. The fancy pants are fine, but I need everyday pants. The denim bootcut jeggings fill the bill perfectly. Please bring them back and keep them in stock. So we can replace ours as they wear out.
I love DG2 Jeans and am so grateful for them. HOWEVER what happened to the straight leg style? The skinnys are a little tight on my calfs and the boot cuts are just way to wide at the bottom. Diane will you bring them back please? I miss them and am so sad to see all the great designs that I cannot choose without the straight leg.
Am I alone in this? What do others think? Thanks!
Diane,
I LOVE bootcut and flareleg jeggings with the elastic waist..NOT the slimming ones–just the regular jeggings. I carry all my weight around my middle and have slim legs so the “slimming” ones (and the regular waist w/zipper, for that matter) don’t stretch enough in the waste to fit me. Please don’t go to the “slimming” design exclusively; don’t forget about us ladies who still want the full elastic waist jegging. Thank you!
some of us out there don’t wear pants
how about designing some pencil skirts in the fabrics you aired today
(11/11) That might be a wonderful addition to your line
Thx
now that you’ve changed the fabric, will you offer a size zero? the size two is now too big. i’m 65 and junior jeans just are not appropriate.
Love your jeans Diane but your forgot us girls this season who carry our weight in our thighs. Skinny jeans don’t balance us out. They make our thighs look bigger. Boot cut is also cut too snug in the thigh area. Where are the wide leg and trouser jeans that work for us. If I remember correctly, they were sold out fast. Please bring them back.
I also hope you will bring back the trouser jean–It’s the only one that I can wear–all the others are too tight in the legs.
Diane, Just love you so much and thanks for all you do for us.
Wanted to know if you are going to have the skinny cargo jeans back.
They are one of my many favorites. I get so many compliments when
I wear them , which is all the time. but need more colors. I have black, mocha and loden now. need more..more… more.. please
What are the colors for jeans for Fall 2012? I’m seeing some great colors in the stores, but I want my DG2!!!!!
Diane, Enough with the printed, zippered, fringe, lace up jeans already! Please do the basic skinny leg and boot cut in SOLID jewel tones – burgundy, dark purple, evergreen, sapphire – like the best selling bright solid jeans this spring.
I LOVE your jeans! YOU know how to do a jean lady!!!!
Thanks,
Lisa
I agree……more skinny jeans……however……make sure they are sized correctly……I loved them until I ordered same jeans again and they were soooo over-sized and would not shrink when washed and dried……so now they are bigger than life, and I donated them……sorry!
I agree. The fancy pants are fine. But, we (I) need everyday pants. I can’t go to work looking that fancy. I need to look I’m showing up to actually work. Also, not the jeans for work, but the jeggings. They’re so comfortable. It feels like I’m working in my PJ’s. And enough with all the straight legs, I’m waiting for the regular denim bootcut jeggings. Not the shaping jeggings. I ordered 6 pair of them and everybody makes fun of me when I wear them. I don’t care for them myslef, but they are comfortable so I kept them and do wear them once in a while, but I do intend to wear them out until I hopefuly can get the regular denim bootcut jeggings. No frills please, just perfect fitting everyday jeggings like I ordered once in the past and haven’t seen again.
Diane, please please please bring back your stretch denmin boot cut jeggins in mid-denim. These are the only jeans of yours that I can wear. I watch your show every time, hoping you will bring them back, and nothing. You always say the your jeans fit every body type, well then I guess I am the exception to the rule. I’ve had to return numerious pairs of jeans because they didn’t fit right. But your boot cut jeggings fit great. I take a P/S and I love them. Please bring them back.
Debb
I love your tunics and sweaters, but I cannot deal with “Hand Wash/ Lay Flat to Dry” as it is just too much work! Please find some easy-care fabrics for your tops.
Diane,
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back your tie dye maxi in MORE colors! I only got the brown and would like to get as many colors as possible. It’s my new favorite dress and so cute with boots and a floppy hat for fall and a faux fur vest for winter! I’m BEGGING you to bring it back! Pretty Please????
Diane, would you please bring back the slimming jeggings. They fit so nice. I have them in black and medium blue, but would love Indigo and gray. Thanks, Marsha
Hi Diane
Love the jeans & presentation. You seem to take great pride in your work, and it shows. I am becoming a collector. However, on 3 of my mom’s recent orders something nutty happened – she ordered the animal print and got lime, which she liked so she kept it. She also ordered black and got white, which she didn’t like and sent back. Then our most recent order went to the wrong address, could you please speak w/customer service regarding the need to ship correctly/very important.
I doubt that she reads your comments – you will be better off getting in touch with customer services. Diane never reads the blog or even the comments that we all writer under her jeans – because she is not affected by anything her customers say. We have written and written about the poor sizing and fit of her jeans and continues to do as she pleases.
2 years ago I started a diet. After losing 30 pounds, ordered your skinny jeans. I received so many compliments that I was encouraged to stick to the diet. After a total weight loss of 93 pounds I now wear a 2 petite….and look terrific! The problem is that I want to take off a few more pounds and just realized that I’m in the smallest size that you manufacture. PLEASE consider adding a smaller size to your line. Who would have thought that jeans would inspire me to get back on track? THANKS!
I am making a request for next summer. I really would like some very basic solid color tees with a regular fit rather than the oversized fit offered this summer. Maybe you could offer a two-pack with a variety of necklines such as a square neck with a V-neck. Also, I would like to see more embellished crop jeans with a straight leg. I am definitely a jean FANatic but find the boot cut jeans too warm for South Florida summer days.
Please consider making jeans for men. My husband works in construction with lots of bending and climbing etc. A little spandex would help him move about easier. Also, lighter weight denim for hot summer days and heavier weight for cold days. I see me buying 6 pair already!
Diane, Love your jeans I own several. Please bring back the black skinny waxed jeans.
They look great and I wanted some since last year I guess I missed them when you were on with these last time. The ones at the high end stores are $200.00 -$300.00 I want some so bad I would pay that, but the fit is horrible and no stretch. I always get compliments when I wear DG2 jeans. Thanks Diana
