Diane, I usually buy several outfits from each collection, hence I have a large amount of DG2 items. I even have the teal velvet boots from your first collection. I really admire your designs. They totally rock. And you do, too.

When will you write a book? Please include photos. I’ll buy the first copy!

Also, think about printing inside the shirts, and tanks, etc. instead of using tags that seem to want to flip up. They are very aggravating, but I refuse to cut them out.

I really like all of your clothes, but I am the exception to your rule. At 62 I am the same size I was in my 20’s (“0″) and find it very hard to find age appropriate clothes having a JUNIOR size body. If you started your sizing at XXS or “0″ your jeans would be perfect. To make things worse I am 5′1′ and weigh about 100lbs. I keep ordering and hoping, but most of the time I have to send things back, as they are too big or too long. Please consider the smaller sizing. Thank you.

Diane, I have 15 pairs of your DG2 jeans and love them. I am 57 years old but, this last pair I ordered (the loden jeans) say to hand wash them. I put all my other pairs in the washer. Is this a type O or do I have to hand wash this one pair? Thank you.

I purchased for the first time the jeans with the cuff.I wish you listed the length when worn straight down no cuff. I am a petite and my inseam is 27.I hope these are not too short in length. some of the petites are now a 30 ? Why would they make them so long ? This is my first purchase for Diane Gilman.I love all the colors on the jeans and I am hoping that the fit will work for me. Color is so nice on the jeans. I love the v-neck tops short sleeves. But please, list the length on the jeans.

Diane,I,too tried the Levi’s Curve in 2P slight. I had Muffin top! I realize Levis isn’t vanity sizing, but what makes DG2 SO superior to those other jeans is the comfort and how the fit flatters my almost 64 yr old body. Thank Heaven I have DG2. It is so true that the compliments are endless, and I could sleep in DG2 jeans. No muffin top. I may be a scant 100 lbs, but the skin at the midriff changes with age, no matter one’s size. You figured that out for all sizes. Your a jeanious-LOL

  • Patti66 says:

Diane, you are a great salesman…I love that you tell your height, weight, and size. Every host should as it would help us figure out what size to order and avoid a lot of ordering several sizes and sending the wrong ones back. You need to tell HSN that all hosts must tell us their weight and what size they are wearing…qvc hosts do it a lot! Anyway, I have tons of your stuff and will buy tons more and only offer my criticism to be helpful…please take it in that spirit when I am negative.

I want to agree with you 120% this woman nos just what we need and what we want. so glad we have her, the only thing i would ask her if i could talk to her is when she makes her handbags if she would put a middle zipper pocket in them, they would sell so much better. do no about you but who wants to pay a couple of hundred $ and open up your bag and all you have is a big hole. I love her clothes and will buy till i die, just wanted to see about the 3rd pocket for the bags. god bless nancy…….

  • MikkiMagic says:

PLEASE PLEASE start putting the elastic pieces back in the plus size jeans!
There are SO many complaints about the sizing on your jeans, in the overall reviews!
I finally figured out that my problem was those 2 pieces of elastic in your plus size and I FEEL SURE it can be attributed to many of the bad reviews!I’ve stopped ordering because they never fit! We can’t pay the S&H and still not get jeans that fit!
IT IS HORRIBLE TO HAVE THEM TAKEN AWAY WHEN YOU HAVE FOUND THEM AND FELT SEXY AGAIN!

  • Toots84 says:

I love the jeans. First ones to fit me since I was young. I am having a problem with the jacket. I washed the clothing before wearing as instructed. Hung to dry. I now have a very black/gray blouse. I have re-washed the trench coat and jeans 3 times and am still getting black hands when turning them right side out after wash. I am afraid to wear it again for fear of ruining another blouse. Any suggestions. I live in a retirement apartment with 6 other people so must rewash the washer too.??

    Diane,
love your jeans. They are the only ones that fit my body perfectly!! Would you please make some shorts, peddle pushers and shorter capris for us shorter “girls” ?
I also was a hippie in the late 60’s love the look

    • Peachy69Keen says:

I agree 100%! We need shorts, what we used to call pedal pushers and more skinny in white as well as every other color you can think of! I have thrown out all my jeans (26 pair) and only wear the 25 pair I have purchased from Diane (so far – I just ordered a couple more pair.)

      Bring em on Dinane!

    • GRANNYSHARON says:

I too would love some shorter jeans. I bought some last summer but they are no longer available. I love love them, and would love to have more. rn92309 is the number I found on the tag. I don’t remember the item number. I would especially love them in the darker blue denim, and not the light. There was also a pink color too I think.

I was 17 when I went to Woodstock in August ‘69. I still have the outfit I wore!!
Diane’s jeans are the best!!!! I tried the TS Levi’s Curve ID and they STINK!!!
ONLY DIANE CAN MAKE REAL JEANS. SHE IS THE ICON!!

  • Theresa686 says:

I was a bit too young for Woodstock, but bring this ON!! The new look is so Diane and I cannot wait to own a whole bunch of it!! Enough of the tailored look. You go Diane, woohoo!!!

  • tamantha2 says:

Diane, love the fact you are going back to where you belong. I have much of the hippie/boho you presented a few years ago. No one does it better than you do! What a relief from the boring, stuffy, old lady items. I am not your age, but not all that far, and plan to wear this style for the rest of my life. It is an attitude, and I want to keep it, thank you for your designs. Now, I am desperate to see more! The tunics look like they will be fabulous! see you then!

  • BlueJeansNYC says:

Can’t wait for this weekend! My 60th Birthday is on Monday. Like you I’m a “CHAI/18 BABY”! Thanks again for “Giving ME back to ME”. Always,XO XO XO BJK/NYC

  • puttogether says:

My sister introduced me to your jeans, vests, trench jackets etc. and I am addicted -such a perfect fit. My favorite is the bootcut jeggins. Hope you will bring them out in more colors– especially in IVORY denim and white. I truly threw out every pair of pants in my closet and replaced with DG2. Your ponte trouser pant is another winner. Love the velvet bootcut too – bring them back (gray & brown) please. Until DG2 haven’t felt this good about my appearance in years!! Thanks Diane Gilman

  • shortnhip says:

DG2 is an addiction! Can’t wait for April 15th to see what fab items you bring us. Diane, as I watched TMZ April 7th they showed a clip of Charlie Sheen’s act and panned to a woman in the audience who looked to be wearing your DG2 white jersey tunic with the studs!! Check it out.

    • Patti66 says:

Just watched the blog and this stuff looks awful. I am your age, and if I wore it at Woodstock I don’t want to wear it again! Is there anything more pathetic than an aging hippie trying to relive her youth?! Please…a little more sophistication for we women of a certain age…and where are the white jeggings…it is 80 here in Ohio and we need white! Keep doing what you do so well…jeans, jeggings, & tunic length T’s, cardigans, and Turtles. I am still a fan & have over 100 of your pieces.

      • JosephineV says:

That’s ridiculous. Why do you insist that you and the rest of us look like old ladies. Diane, keep the hot fashions coming and please ignore silliness about Woodstock. I’m 50 and I look great in your clothes. And, for Patti, don’t buy her clothes if you don’t like them. The rest of us do love them and will wear them forever. I will be 90 and wear them. LOL. Who wants to look OLD?
