Hi ladies, I am delighted and thrilled to have my own blog on HSN.com. I love hearing from you on air, and now you can ask me questions directly. My line is created with love, for all women, all shapes, all sizes, all ages. The Rhonda Shear Brand is a project of passion for me.
I lived and worked as an actress/comedienne for 26 years in Los Angeles. This was the reason I wanted to create a line that would make all women look and feel better, whether you are “in front of the camera” or in “front of other soccer moms.” We are multi-tasking, talened, and fabulous women. We juggle quite a bit in our daily life, whether we are executives, students, or moms. We love our “stuff” and we appreciate our private time. And we love to look great and feel great. It is empowering. It is amazing how a fabulous bra and panty can help in that regard! We need underpinnings, but we don’t want them to inhibit our daily routines or lifestyle. We want to feel free and look fabulous at all times.
I am just like you. I have always loved “dressing up” with pretty, stylish clothing & dresses. I love getting compliments! No doubt it became a little challenging as the years went on. Choices in the past were less, sizes were hard to find. That is why I love my brand being on HSN. They have something for everyone. Great styles, in all sizes, up to the minute looks. My brand is the foundation for those great styles! As we say, “Foundation is where Fashion starts.” And it is true! But we want our foundation to be comfortable and sexy and undetectable.
My background is Hollywood and I was inspired by old Hollywood Glamour I adore the old films and stars of yesterday. They were ladies, and they loved looking fabulous at all times. They knew how to flirt. They knew that “less is more.” Sexy can be modest…showing just a hint :)
I can’t wait to hear from you. I want to know what you want. I want to hear your feedback. If you are new to my brand, I want to give you some suggestions on how to get started. I know that the “Shapewear” word can “scare” gals. It sounds confining, hot, and uncomfortable. Trust me, I get it! I couldn’t handle that myself! I used to be stuffed into uncomfortable undergarments in my early years of acting in Hollywood. Ugh, it was a nightmare!!! That is when I made a promise to myself to one day design a fabulous line of comfortable, beautiful intimate apparel.
One of the most dreaded garments is “the brassiere”…torture devices initially invented by a man. Well, dread no more, my princesses. I have created the Ahhh Bra (item #527-967) It is called that, because it is like putting on a big sigh of relief. No hooks, no eyes, no underwire. Cool, comfortable, stretchy and adorable. My number one selling bra, and you will know why when you try it. It gives light, everyday support. Converts to your cup size, an you FORGET you are wearing a bra! Don’t forget the “Ahh Panty”. How my line started was with amazing shaping garments. We have refined those garments into being lightweight with firm control. Two things that don’t usually go together. I love my seamless line. Seamless means it is knitted on a special knittling machine with the finest of yarns. That means four way stretch and comfort while getting great control. There are no seams anywhere as it hugs and defines you. We knit in all the support. All you do is “Slim Into Slim.” Try our High Waist Shaper (item # 954-095). A lifted and toned looking derriere, inner and outer thigh control. A defined waistline and the appearance of weight loss. If you want the same results, but in a lacier version. Rhonda, I really love your Pin-Up Girl Bras. I am very petite but I have alot of skin under my arms/back, I guess this just happens with age, and your bras cover this issue really well. I have noticed online by other reviews that some have a problem with the straps slidding off. The fix for this is to put a better and/or shorter elastic under the top of the strap seam. I have done this on all your bras that I have and it seems to have corrected the problem. I have broad shoulders, but being petite the straps of the bras are a bit too wide across the shoulders and thus do have a tendency to slip off the shoulders. Perhaps you could correct this problem somewhat by putting the shoulder straps closer together. Please bring back the Pin-Up Girl bras…. No joke, I was basically braless before I bought these bras.

Thank you for the double sports bra. My doctor said she was impressed with the sports bra I was wearing. Other patients come in with the ones from discount stores and she has to write out a prescription for another surgical bra. She asked where I got mine and what the name was. I told her Rhonda Shear and where I bought them from. She said she will recommend that they purchase yours. I told her that HSN has clearances all the time. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

I have been buying your AHH bras, bandeau bra and panties and loving them, however, I purchased the Special that HSN had for the double layer bras and find that two of them are same size and the other is about two inches smaller measuring band around the chest. I ordered XL and only one of them is that size. Also, I get the uni-boob effect when I wear them that I don’t with the regular single layer AHH bras. Can I return these for the single layer AHH bras in XL? They are past 30 day HSN return policy unfortunately!

I WEAR THE AHH BRA 24/7. I LOST THE USE OF MY HANDS/WRISTS IN 2003 & AM IN BRACES, SO BRAS ARE DIFFICULT FOR ME, IS THE REASON I PURCHASED THE AHH. I WOULD REALLY LOVE IT IF THEY WOULD NOT ROLL. I’M VERY PETITE & SHORT IN THE TORSO.
I NOTICED YOU KEEP TELLING PEOPLE “YOU MAY NEED A DIFFERENT SIZE”, WELL I’VE TRIED MED, LGE & XL THEY ALL ROLL!!! THE NEW GENERATION ONES ARE EVEN WORSE BCUZ THERE’S MORE FABRIC TO ROLL & THE LG WAS TO TIGHT & THE XL IS TOO LOOSE BUT I WEAR IT ANYWAY.
SUGGESTIONS?
I LOVE THE AHH BRAS, BUT THEY DO ROLL UP REGARDLESS OF SIZE. I LIKE THE DOUBLE FOR THE SUPPORT BUT I WISH THEY WERE MADE ROUND LIKE THE REGULAR SO I CAN USE THEM FOR CHEST COVERAGE.
SUGGESTION: CAN YOU MAKE HIGH-CUT SHAPEWEAR AND KNEE LENGTH.

problem be sizing or would the longer double layer version be the way to
go. I called customer service twice and could get a definitive answer. I really want to love your products. Please HELP!

I have the same problem of rolling up in front on the double ply bras, which are my favorite. If I wear the older style one ply, then the bra continually creeps up in front & I end up with no support.
I have large & XL, but have recently lost 40 lbs. Should I size down? Thank you!
How about a 3 pack TSV of the lace insert double layer Ahhh bra? I would purchase every color available!! All 3 with the lace would be lovely. Thanks for your consideration. Happy New Year!

I am a breast cancer survivor and really like your bras. After multiple surgeries I developed Lymphedema. This is not uncommon among survivors. Your Ahh Seamless T-shirt is a step in the right direction as we need an affordable shirt that can hide under street clothes & provide gentle compression. Would you be interested in getting input from several of us and work on a design that could help us even better?
Rhonda, I cannot begin to tell you what a blessing finding your bras and taking the chance to order them was for me. I had shingles and developed post herpatic neuropathy. I was completely unable to wear a bra at all due to the severe pain. I ordered the original ahh bra in 3x and it was perfect. I ordered 12 of them. When you introduced the new version I ordered 12 of them. But I was very disappointed in the fit. they cut into my underarms and I threw them away. Please bring back the original!!
Rhonda, please help. I always have purchased your shapers. The problem now is the ones offered are too short, and I don’t like the high waist…everything gets shoved to the top..ugh..I need one for long pants and one for capris and dresses below my knee. I need shaping with the mesh that helps shape my saddlebags andlift my butt. I have lost 120lbs. so things aren’t as solid as I would like. ha if that was the case i wouldn’t need a shaper.the lightweight ones are worthless,panyhose???
Love your bras. Is there any chance of getting a larger size. There are NO bras for us really large ladies. I’m sure I’m not the only one needing this.
I have many in 4x you haven’t carried them in the last 3 or 4 TSV’s..WHY?…..there are plenty of us out here who would purchase them……we WANT AND NEED THEM….I am sure even a 5x would sell…you say you’re interested in keeping ALL YOUR GIRLS HAPPY. We have been loyal customers no genie bras and whatever SHOPNBC is calling what they sell.This goes for the panties too.No excuses you answer as if this isn’t under your control…do you expect us to believe that…you’re the BOSS

I’m sick and tired of your ahh bras that claim to solve ALL of our issues…you have the resources to MAKE the right bra…here is my input on where you are missing the mark.
1.) stop with the god-awful modesty inserts, that shift and do not by any means fully cover our breasts.
2.) the rolling of the bottom band has got to be fixed…most of us do not have 6-pack abs.
3.) the camisole that you make needs to be incorporated with the ahh bra – use the same modesty foam-duh!

I made the pad movable and removable on purpose (as many women do not want the the pad, or want it only on one side or in a certain spot to eliminate any uneven appearance). If the band is rolling you may need another size, but I am also looking into some new silhouette options. The Molded-cup Cami is one of my favorites too, and I do have some new similar things coming!Happy Holidays!

Need your help and advice. I’ve been watching you on TV with the Ahh bar and was wondering if it would work for me? I’m a petite lady in statur but not where the girls are concerned. I normally wear a 42 I and was wondering if the Ahh would give me the support I need. I’m really looking for something that will be comfortable all day and night if necessary as well as pretty and supportive.
Also, can you please do a shaper that comes mid thigh?
Thank you for your comment! The Ahh Bra is definitely designed for comfort and will not give the push up of an underwire bra- because it isn’t meant to. I do think you would love the double layered version or some of my more structured bras for more support, but would love the Ahh bra too for comfort!

I love your Ahh Bras, but I find that I am collecting too many whites and tans/beiges. Would you consider doing a set of fashion colors, i.e., red, black, granite or whatever your fashion colors are include them as a set. I’m sure there are others out there that feel the same way. Thanks.

i’ve had a mastectomy and wear your bras, but have a hard time keeping the prosthesis in place…it would be great if you’d make a mastectomy aah bra…there are lots of us out here who’d love to be comfortable, too! ;)

I love the Ahh bras with removable pads,I also have the lace leisure bras with removable pads! I prefer the round pads from the leisure bras. would it be possible to offer those as a separate purchase ? I love you bras and panties!!!!!

I am a post bariatric patient. During all the weight loss I have lost all muscle tone to the boob area even though I did the weight and arm exercises for firmness. I am unable to wear the Ahh Bra as the boobs go flat and wrap around my top. Do you have anything that will hold me up. I wear a D cup and the boobs hang down to my feet. Reminds me of granny cartoon in playboy of years past.

Rhonda, I’m 67 y/o and just love these bras with the extra padding.
Many of us are in the medical field and would like to have the white ones. Any way possible for those to come out. And some of our blouses and shirts need the white also. How about it…..Love these bras…

I have a drawer full of the Ahh bras that I started purchasing from a Today’s Special years ago. These are the only bras I wear. Unfortunately, I am no longer ordering because you’ve added the double layer which I find VERY uncomfortable. If you could somehow distinguish in the name, like double layer Ahh and single layer Ahh, I will know when I order which bra I’m getting. That way if I miss a show when you are explaining them, I’ll know by the name online when I go to order. Thanks Rhonda!

RHONDA SHEAR, Hi ronda , i have been buying your bras for a while now . i even got my mom them , but we love the 4 x size we have tried the smaller size but they ran to tight , i have been looking for a while to see if you bring back the 4x but no only the smaller sizes can you please make the ahh bras in 4x again and with the underwires thanks , also my mom said the padded ones in 4x as well thank marian nj 9/29/2012

Hi Rhonda, I love your Cheetah collection of bras. Unfortunately the last time I was able to buy them in a 3x or 4x was about 2 years ago. I bought a 2x the other day and sadly have to send them back as they are just a tad too small. I get emailed everytime you are on and try to watch when I can. Can you please do more quantity of the larger sizes on the Cheetah line as they fit great and provide the added support I need. If I feel this way, I bet others do too. Thanks.

My intimates are All Rhonda! Here is my request…please make your cammies and molded long length bras so no clevage shows. I love wearing these, busty but have never when I was young and ‘perky’ and certainly not at 62 ever shown clevage in public. I would lOVE to wear your cammies and molded long bras alone. LOVE the new 2-piece shortie and top…LOVE how that top and the Red nightie tops are…Cute, sexy, but could wear to the store. Thanks, Rhonda…I’m a size L also!
