Beautynistas, We just got out of set rehearsal with KATE WALSH! She was getting ready for the launch of her new fragrance Boyfriend! This was by far an experience that we had to blog about asap.
For all you beautynista’s that have been keeping up the latest news, Kate is launching her new scent BOYFRIEND. The fragrance that was made for WOMEN but inspired by men. I know all of you are dying to know what this is all about. Well, that is why we’re here. To give you the insiders’ scoop.
We were lucky enough to sit on set with her after rehearsal and get a first hand look (and smell) of what all the buzz has been about. So here it is…in the words of Kate herself: BOYFRIEND is a “warm, nuzzily fragrance”. We have to agree that it is indeed a very intimate and unique fragrance that makes you feel almost secure in a sense, like a big hug. Do you know that feeling of sitting in your favorite chair, curled up with big fuzzy blanket, next to a raging fire with your man? Well, that’s how we would describe it. The scent itself went on light and seemed to mix well with both of us even through the original scents we put on that morning. We definitely think this can stand alone as a beautiful fragrance, or be layered and mixed. The official top notes include dark plum and myrrh with mid notes of night-blooming jasmine and benzoin tears, and base notes of skin musk, golden amber and vanilla woods.
Kate described her inspiration for the brand coming from a mysterious ex-boyfriend whose scent she missed. She wanted to be able to recreate that scent of him for her. The scent of that shirt he left behind or the pillow he slept on. Ladies, we all do it! We all smell that shirt, the pillow, that blanket. Well, now we have a perfect scent that gives us the same feeling we love. This was created specifically for us. Warm and cozy, yet sexy and fun!

I missed the launch of the Boyfriend fragrance. Is the train cosmetic bag with the fragrance still available and if not, is it on waitlist?
Received a package from HSN last week which had this wonderful smell in it. I was delighted to see a perfume paper sample of Boyfriend. I never have fell so in love with a fragrance before like I did with Boyfriend. I marked my calendar and could not wait to order the Todays Special. I can not wait to get it! Please put on Auto Ship as soon as you can. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

OMG! Can this woman be more beautiful?? I can’t wait to get my roll on home to try it out, and show off my new boyfriend to my husband ;)
