Antthony Originals: July Birthday with HSN
Every summer we celebrate the birth of our country with fireworks, barbecues and time spent with family. It is a special time to remember the sacrifices of the past and look forward to the opportunities of the future. I consider myself blessed, as in July I also celebrate the birthday of HSN. It has been eighteen years now that I have been talking with my ladies via the HSN broadcasts. I’d like to take a moment to share with you my first birthday memory and acknowledge their role in supporting the Antthony brand.
My first HSN birthday was in 1994 and I remember there were huge balloons hanging from the ceiling and giant clothes hanger props on the set. It was a beautiful backdrop for the show and all of the callers were as excited as I was to be part of something so special. It was a thrilling first experience to participate with HSN and host Bobbi Ray Carter in celebrating the network, and I have had similar feelings of excitement each year since.
Anyone who has been following Antthony knows that I have a love and passion for birds. They fascinate me and I have a couple of finches that live at my Los Angeles, California studio that inspire me on a daily basis. Looking back, I remember clearly that the first outfit featured was made of a print covered in birdhouses and birds. Over the years my designs have changed, but the support and encouragement from HSN has never waivered for which I am truly grateful.
As you wave your flags and cheer at the parades that pass by this month, I hope you will also remember that HSN and Antthony want you to look your best. That is why we are here, and we will be celebrating along with you for many more years to come. Happy Birthday, HSN!

Antthony many years ago you made long thick dusters in many many colors,that is all i wear but in the black i ordered the wrong material and it is starting to pile. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!! In black, navy,camel,brown and i will buy two of each!
Love love love your Daffina 3 pc outfit and hope you bring it back in many more colors. As I approach 60, I find I need clothes that are a bit more forgiving, and your designs fit the bill perfectly. It’s great that you also include petite sizes for us height-challenged ladies.
Hello, Anthony. I adore your clothes. I never miss a show of yours on HSN. I would love it if you were able to make your jeans for taller women. At 5′10″, I’m just missing the mark with some of your pants and it’s a disappointment because they are lovely.
Of all designers, I would think Anthony would get the message. Not only are we again in Winter, it is another year without long sleeves. We have 3 quartered everything from PJ’s to Outerwear. When will someone get it. We are sick of everything in 3/4 sleeve. There are no options. Why not create pieces with long sleeve but rouched so that we would have 3 options, long, 3/4 and elbow. Any keep it closed instead of cut up to the elbow, at least for winter. Hope someone gets the message.

i normally don’t e-mail pople about there products that they sale , but i had to e-mail you & let you know you make be cry , because i feel so beautiful in you designs . For the last 3 yearsi have be having very unlucky health probles . But thanks to you i have been feeling better about myself and the way I LOOK , I just wonted to THANK YOU because of you i now am wearing dresses again ,(1st time in 30 years)You make be feel so pretty with your designes. Antthony, God Bless You. Had to tell you how much I love the paris murals maxi dress. Wore it on my anniversary, my husband loved it and told me how nice I looked after 22 years of marriage. Thank You. I know you said once you’re inspired by old movies. I just watched the moved “The Girl” about Hitchcock and saw a white lace jacket buttoning down the back worn by Tippi. Could you make that? It would be so fabulous to make a lady’s wardrobe all season. You’re appreciated!!!
Antthony, when will you be back on. I hope before Christmas. You are the best. I love EVERYTHING you have designed. I think HSN should have at least a weekly “Antthony” show. Daily would be even better. I can’t imagine watching you and not buying, but even if that was the case, I would still watch you because you are so cute. The best personality on T.V. Yes, I am crushing LOL.
Anthony, I just love your garments. They are versatile, comfortable, yet sophisticated. Would like to see more “petites”,since when wearing pants or sometimes a skirt,making alterations can be costly. Personally I would rather put the money into the item, so as soon as I recieve it, “can put it on and go”!! Have recommended you to everyone. When are you going to be on air again and have another “today’s special value”, hope it’s a ensamble, those are the best, must easier for “today’s woman”!

MY FIRST PURCHASE I ACTUALLY INSISTED ON BUYING WAS YOUR PARIS EIFFLE TOWER SIGNATURE TOP. IT,S SO BEAUTIFUL!! Hi Anthony – I wanted to thank you for the wonderful clothes you have made available on HSN. My mother is an elderly women who has limited vision. She fell and broke her leg and clothes for her to wear for awhile was hard to find. I went on HSN.COM and found your clothing designs that made he smile again. Hi Anthony.I’m a loyal fan,& have many of your beautiful slacks & top combos. I have one request tho, as I have short hair & am 62 yrs old, disabled & don’t look as slender anymore, but with the right design,I can still look presentable. My problem is, I have short hair, & often garments are shown with long haired models only, so I CAN’T SEE THE BACK NECKLINE,& can’t tell if they’re high enough in back 4 me. Can you help? I think I would buy more if I could C all the back.Thank you Antthony :)
I am 63 and agree with Meadowinthewoods…also, I would like to see you wonderful designs in materials that are lasting. I have had to put so many of you things out because they can’t hold up with the washing or dry cleaning. When I find something that flatters an old, oversized body, I would like it to last so I can build a wardrobe. Thank you, Anthony

Hi Antthony — I have bought dozens of your outfits – BUT there is one that I bought at least 10 years ago that I would love for you to bring back. It is a black/cream kaftan. I have lived and travelled all over the world for the past 10 years and have worn it everywhere – people have remarked about how chic and cool it looks. I have been washing it by hand and take such good care of it because I want it to last forever.

Antthony darlin i love your style. My mother is 83 yrs young and loves it also. I bought her a set with long sheer sleeves and a short sleeve top under. The sleeves are two different sizes and won’t fit her arms but can’t find it online to replace if possible to do so. She won’t wear short sleeves in public and its such a great set. Can i still return this if i can’t find the paperwork? How can i take care of this? I live in tennessee and she lives in michigan. Thank you!
I just got my first Anthony clothing. Love it!! So much that I went on line and ordered some more. My question is when are you going to be back on HSN with some new things? I can’t wait to see them and I want to know so I can put it on my calendar. Don’t want to miss it.

Hi Anthony- I buy so many of your caftans and tops and full outfits. I am petite only 5″0 105lbs. but I love everything you make. Please bring out a sexy one shoulder maxi or caftan, I know you would do it the best-long and flowy, I love how dramatic you are, because that is my personality too. Your work is beautiful and good luck and many blessings in the future.
anthony, love your clothes, would really like if you keep making the tunics that have the sharkhems, these are so hard to get a hold of and i no you make them well, also love it when you make a complete outfit that you get it all together, you no that helps a lot of use as some of us can’t always buy 2 or 3 pieceses to get what we want to put together. I always buy from you and cstruss, both of you i think don’t get enough coverage BUT WE ARE HERE FOR YOU AND WILL KEEP ON BUYING. GOD BLESS YOU
