Top three looks for summer?
Prints, Maxi Dresses, and Sparkle! For my Summer Collection I touched on these three popular trends for the season. Prints are everywhere and the options are endless. There is nothing I love more than a beautifully printed Maxi Dress! Maxis are the best way to dress for the hot summer months. They are easy and flattering on any body type; and all you need is a little sparkle to complete the look. I think rhinestone jewelry or great metallic accessories are the perfect way to add a little shimmer to your summer wardrobe.
The weather is getting hot! How can we accessorize and still keep our looks cool?
Hats are the best way to keep your color while still looking stylish! I have a gorgeous straw fedora coming in June that will help block the sun while keeping you on trend. It’s perfect for the Summer months ahead, because it is light weight and comes in fabulous bright colors. You won’t want to head out to the beach without it!
What advice and style tips can you give to women who are petite, but want a long and lean look?
Maxis are always a good trick! They elongate the body no matter what height you are. I have a few great designs coming in for the Summer. Be on the lookout – there is something for everyone!
What moments & big events do you look forward to each summer?
I love the summer. Wearing summer clothes in bright or pastel colors is so much fun after wrapping up in the Winter. I love my upcoming summer collection; there are great things for everyone. Summer to me is a holiday at the beach and in the country – picnics, long walks, playing tennis (although I’m not a great player), watching Wimbledon, eating outside – bliss.
Give us the inside scoop on The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee! How will you take part in the celebration?
I’m so excited about the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. I love and admire the Queen and have met her a few times. I think she’s quite an exceptional woman. London is completely abuzz with all the preparations for the Jubilee. I have already recorded a TV show discussing the Queen’s reign and her clothes. It was such fun to look back at all the archive photos from before she became Queen, and it was wonderful to get an insight from the people who design her outfits.
The big day in London will be June 3rd when Her Majesty will be on her newly built barge and will sail down the river Thames through the heart of London. All over the UK there will be Jubilee street parties, it’s going to be amazing.
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I love to sew and knit. I’ve done it all my life and it certainly helps when I design my Twiggy London range, as I really do understand how clothes are constructed.
What can we look forward to this June?
I am so excited to be back in June, I feel it’s been way too long! I am even more excited about my gorgeous TS! It is a beautiful item that you will need to own in many different colors! The fabric is amazing. For those of you that enjoy my Pull On Resort Pants, you will need to pick this up! I don’t want to give away too much detail about my June TS, but it is definitely a summer essential you will love.
Twiggy I have a question about your recent winter fashions. You had on the site the Twiggy Walking Coat in carmel and black I believe, it is also shown with your chuncky scary with pockets the color was emerald green and navy… it shows the walking coat…It was on the website for like 2 days and then removed why was that? the item number was 209060 and it does not even come up under that item number, I really wanted that coat but it disappeared.. is it coming back and when?
Will the sequined bomber jacket ever come back? I got to my computer just as it sold out. I had never purchased on line before and still am sooooo disappointed.

I love your boots so much, but I’m a bigger girl and I need a wider calf. I love that you have your shoes and boots in a wide width, but do you think you could size them in larger calf sizes for the bigger girls, who would love to wear boots too.

Twiggy, PLEASE bring back your regular jeans with the front zipper…I love them and so do my sisters and friends. They fit so well and were so comfortable. It is a joy to watch you on HSN as you are so down to earth. Please consider bringing back your fabulous jeans! Thanks!

I bought your chiffon with drape tank in two colors and plan on wearing them backwards, so the drape is in the front and not in the back along with the pull on matching pants
